Is it tried and true that you get the $15 back from AmEx if you check out with MasterPass? Quote from terms: “In addition, in most cases, you will not receive the statement credit if your transaction is made with an electronic wallet or through a third party or if the merchant uses a mobile or wireless card reader to process it.”

Dan

@David R:
Yes, people have already gotten AMEX offers confirmation.

@dan: will “sync your American Express card with your twitter account here. And then tweet #AmexNewegg” work if i already placed my order and then tweet… thanks

Eli

@dan: it seems like its either the “tweet” deal or the or the “AMEX offers” deal, but not both. i tried the tweet after already the offer and got this response – “Amex Offers
@AmexOffers @******** You’ve already enrolled in the #AmexNewegg offer. If this is an error, please contact @AskAmex”. i contacted @AskAmex this was the response – “Hi *****, is it possible you enrolled in the offer thru another channel, for example Facebook or your online account? – Toni”. and then again – “More than likely you enrolled via another channel and it automatically enrolls you under all platforms.”

Dan

@Eli:
Probably not.

@Eli:
Who said anything about doing both?

eli

@Dan:
by putting the “offer” option second.
the tweet way is more complicated, u should have first mentioned the simpler way. i therefore figured u meant both
