Google Express launched with a membership based model charging $99/year after a free trial. However Google Express abandoned the paid membership model in favor of higher free shipping thresholds from most stores.
The amount needed for free shipping varies by store. Some have free shipping on all orders while others have $15, $25, $35, or $49 minimums.
Stores include Costco, Target, Walmart, Whole Foods, and more stores that vary by region. If you’re in the LA region you can even order from Western Kosher.

Ever since Google Express stopped charging membership they have raised their prices. The last that I checked, the items available for sale on GE are much more expensive that in store. Do others find this as well?

Costco prices are often cheaper in store than on Google Express. With the coupons, it sometimes m makes sense to buy from them. Without it, it usually isn’t worth it to me.
There is a clear markup on Costco prices. That has been the case since they got rid of the paid subscription model.

When I purchase on walmart.com there are many products that show price is cheaper in the store.
Yes, this has been widely discussed. They WANT you to go to their physical store. Remember, their sales, at one point anyway, were more than GM and Pfizer COMBINED (GM, at various times, is the biggest auto maker in the world and Pfizer is the biggest pharma company in the world).
However, there are anyway a more limited number of items on Google Express for all of these stores.
Fine they will just lose out because i’m in NYC and no walmart here and doesn’t pay drive to one, if they have same price as in store I would buy it online.
In my last order from Walmart Ive entered the code for $15 saving and was never credited.

I go to install app of g assistant on iphone and for it to work wants access to all phone data… so may be a pass on this one for me..
