Return policy on clearance items?
I bought a beautiful $600 suit for $100. It had shatnez in the collar. Just be aware,especially in their expensive suits.
Which specific model/brand had shatnez? I have brought many suits from Jos A Bank and never had any shatnez issues.
I have heard from the shatnez testing lab that depending on the company and/or where the suit is made, it often varies even within the same model, size, or design. At times, the factory will use whatever material is available at the time of that specific run for the inside materials (such us under the collar or lapel). If they run out of one fabric, they can change out for whatever is at hand.
Almost every time I’ve ordered something significant on clearance from JOB, the order has been cancelled. Happened again this time. Starting to think it’s not worth the time.
