AMEX Consumer Platinum cardholders can register here for $50 cash back on up to $50 of spending at Saks.com and Saks Fifth Avenue every January-June and $50 cash back every July-December.

You should always try to use these offers at least a few days before the deadline so that it has time to post to your account and trigger the credit before the 6/30 and 12/31 deadlines.

Sample Items:

While the terms don’t officially allow for gift cards, you will get reimbursed for physical gift card purchases, based on my experience. Unfortunately, those are only sold for a minimum of $150 online, so you would effectively get a 33.3% discount on those. Online eGift cards won’t work.

However, you can buy $50 gift cards in Saks Fifth Avenue stores and those will be reimbursed in full based on my experience.

While this offer is not valid at Saks OFF 5TH, gift cards bought from Saks will work at both Saks and Saks OFF 5TH!

Post what items you’ll be buying with your $50 spend credit!

Would the Saks $50 credit work if I checkout with Paypal (to double dip) using my Platinum card?

Looking forward to the 45,000 points! lol

$50 credit really helps offset the cost

Steven

I am new to this card but did not see a signup to get this credit like I did for the dell $100 credit. Simply make the purchase at saks and it gets credited on the statement?

Dan

Click on the registration link in the post 🙂

Got a Braun Blender. I was able to get 10% off for creating an account. They cancelled my order twice in a row because “they couldn’t verify” according to the phone reps. But when I placed the order by phone, it went through and they shipped it. They always reissued the 10% off when I needed to place the order a second and third time.

t-shirt hoodie thing. $59. aka $9 dlvd!

Wait so if I purchase on 6/30, I won’t get the 1/1-6/30 credit since it won’t post for a few days?

Dan

You should. It goes based on charge date, not post date.

jonny

Hm.. I chatted them and got this:

“The charge post date is final the credit will be determined on the date the charge posts on your card…
So if you make a purchase today and the charge goes on to post in July then it will trigger the credit for the 2nd half of the year”
