but no wool in shirts so what is the issue?
The threads that are used can contain wool (not as common as cotton, but certainly quite possible). Furthermore, according to the Rema one shouldn’t wear one item of wool or linen clothing over another of the opposite type if you cannot remove the lower one without taking off the upper one first (for example, a wool jacket over a linen shirt, or said shirt over a wollen pair of tzitzis).
The Tzizit usually isn’t an issue if it is not an undershirt type. Most can be slid out from under the shirt.

These are beautiful and quality shirts, worth any wait as you probably won’t be wearing for awhile anyway. they come wrapped in plastic just put in your closet. I buy the French cuffs version, a steal
