Does this mean it could NEVER be unlocked? Even for a different indie that also uses Verizon’s network?
It can be unlocked after a year of service on Tracfone. I read about this 2 days ago when people were posting about its $111 price.
This was a great deal. I got one, and the phone is really good quality for a low end phone. Much better than the $49.99 Samsung A10e (which I returned). The sim included with this phone works on the Verizon network, which is very good in NY. And tracphone has a $20 per month plan with unlimited text and talk, and 1 GB of data, which is working just fine for me, as I use Wifi mostly for the data.
Dan, if this comes up again, can you let us know? I’d get another one for a relative.
