Nice for places without cell coverage
my cell service has cut out on outings to the poconos and we lost a couple hours driving our in the middle of nowhere, we saw a lot of beatiful trees and a few deer, but i sure wish i had one of these on me at the time, and for this price even if its not the best model should be a worthwhile investment
i normally download an area via google maps if i expect a place without cell coverage.
i did it when i was in Iceland i divided the country in parts and downloaded the whole map of Iceland at home via my wifi we never had any issues.

Lifetime maps is nice but be aware, TomTom defines lifetime as they wish. They outdated my working TomTom which I paid a lot for with lifetime maps and traffic.
Amazon is refusing to ship mine due to a price mistake….should have gone for faster shipping!
after amazon never sending it, and then removing the order from my accounts, i called them, and the honored the original price, the applied a $100 credit if i reorder it
