if your planning to use the hotplate on shabbat you have to cover the adjustable knob!!!!
@Normay, I have this for Pesach. It works very well. As Davidmal said, it’s halachically necessary to cover the knob for Shabbat, but the adjustable temp is very useful.
I have the hot plate and use it for shabbat for some time now. Works very well. I leave the knob in between medium and high and it warms up food great!
