Does anyone know if multiple siblings each need their own kit? Part of the description makes it seem that each sibling would benefit most from this product if they each received their own kit? Or does it make sense to just charge your sibling $10 each to see your results? Is there enough of a benefit for each sibling to purchase their own?
Read the questions about this product on Amazon and the reviews. It sounds like this test concentrates on your ancestry rather than individual health concerns. So it sounds like one per sibling group wold be enough.
@Moe, you share a pair of Chromosomes from two parents with two Chromosomes – So for example Tay-Sachs – if both parents carry the recessive gene all or none of the children could have the gene if a person ended up with both recessive genes from a parent they could be at risk or it could be be null and lie dormant. I hav’nt recently studied T-S so IDRC if have carrying the gene from both parents – perhaps curly hair or straight hair is a better example or attached ear lobes-
I tried the traits with 23andme and it was about 80% correct i.e. like dislike Cilantro, morning or night person (90%) and hours slept, muscle type etc. I was surprised at the profile accuracy
Only concern is having your genetic data harvested…… thoughts?
