If you clip the “Click here to activate” coupon via this link it will tell you if you are targeted to save 20% off on anything from Amazon when you redeem 1 Citi ThankYou Point.

You can get a maximum of $30 off $150 in spending with this offer. You can use this offer on multiple orders until you reach $30 in max savings.

This will only work with Citi cards that earn ThankYou points.

If you have a Citi Rewards+ card you will also get a 10% rebate on redeemed ThankYou points. You can also use that card to reload your Amazon account balance with 50 cents at a time, earning 10 ThankYou points with each reload as you earn a minimum of 10 points per dollar on each transaction. That’s equal to earning 20 points per dollar spent. If you value each point at 1.3 cents each, that’s like getting a 26% rebate on Amazon purchases!

After enrolling, just add items that are shipped and sold from Amazon to your cart. This won’t work for items sold by 3rd parties.

This promotion works for 3rd party gift cards sold by Amazon!

This offer expires 9/30 or when all offers have been redeemed.

Save on Amazon deals such as deals found here. Items must say shipped and sold by Amazon to qualify for these offers.

Amazon will automatically apply the best offer for your purchase!

If you aren’t targeted you can try:

This won’t work for Amazon gift cards, but it will work for 3rd party gift cards sold by Amazon.

Gift cards sold by Amazon that work for this promotion include:

At checkout select the Membership Rewards card that you linked.

You may need to click “Change” by the credit card at checkout if it’s showing a different default credit card.

On the final checkout page click on “Apply rewards points” and enter $0.01 to use 1 point to save 1 cent (Don’t use more than 1 point as buying on Amazon only gives a paltry value of 0.8 cents per Citi point!):

For example I added $150 of Uber gift cards (valid for Uber or UberEats) on my household account and got $30 off:

If you want to pay with your Amazon gift card balance, you can try adding a new Amazon gift card of any amount at checkout. You can also try clicking the promo activation button again and then going to checkout.

Sample deals after 30% off:

Amazon offers free shipping with $25+ orders or get free 1 day shipping on all orders with a free trial of Amazon Prime. A prime trial is also free with Amazon Family (which also gets you up to 20% off diapers among other benefits) or Amazon Student. EBT/Medicaid Cardholders can save on Prime Membership here.

Got it thanks!

Hey Danny boy;)
FYI you can now transfer double cash dollars to TY Points, so even if you have only the double cash card like me you can get this offer!

David R

The terms say “when the promotional code is entered at checkout”. Is it necessary to enter a code? If so, what’s the code?

David R

No code needed.

How much do you use Uber that you are always buying gift cards every time there is an offer like this?
Or do you not actually check out?

Hi, I clicked the link to “Linking your Citi ThankYou card with your Amazon account here” and then ordered a product from Amazon. The discount was not applied at checkout. Do you know if it’s possible to get it after the fact?

David R

“This offer is not available to eligible Citi cardmembers who have previously used ThankYou Points to shop at in the past twelve (12) months.”
For real? I used ThankYou Points to shop at in the past twelve months. I was able to activate the promo. But no discount is coming off the order. Is that because of this condition?

David R

It did not work for me because I was ordering from Pantry, although they don’t mention it as an exclusion. When I added one of the gift cards in the post, it worked.

Finally worked for me today !
Thank you ,Dan !

Is the link no longer working? It doesn’t say if I’m eligible or not.
