Tell an Alexa device or app “Alexa, Thank my driver” and the driver to make your most recent delivery will receive $5 at no cost to you.
“The $5 promotion will end after 1 million “thank yous” are received. You will still be able to thank your driver using Alexa and we will share your appreciation with our delivery partners.
The five drivers who receive the most customer “thank-you’s” during the promotional period, will also be rewarded with $10,000 and an additional $10,000 to their charity of choice.”

I have too many different Amazon drivers, so no personal relationship. Amazon is essentially making a lottery for its delivery workers, while perhaps encouraging better performance.

This is already common for Uber eats, doordash, and amazon fresh. So why not for prime when literally the next day your product shows up to your door ? If people are willing to tip let them tip.

So my driver has repeatedly delivered my packages to a neighbor, prompting me to call Amazon and inform them that I never received the items, and get refunded. Then the neighbor comes down the block a few days later with my “free” package.
I should probably tip this driver a little more that 5 bucks. 😉

I actually give my delivery drivers a holiday gift, this way they’ll realize I appreciate theit work and do a good job. 100% muttar.

Logically, this makes no sense for (or near) Urban areas, as every day is someone different. Sometimes 2 deliveries from 2 different trucks/fulfillment centers on same day. Perhaps more suburban or rural areas have same driver daily.
I would give the $5 to the first Amazon driver that follows the delivery instructions on my account!
It’s amazing how all these DANSDEALS customers, who have saved so much money by being members of DANSDEALS, work so hard to find a way not to participate, and not to give a monetary present to an individual who most likely doesn’t even know what DANSDEALS is.

i just did this and it added it to a pick up order! I guess it sends it to your last order, how do I know this is actually legit and drivers are being compensated? Does it end up as a $5 credit to me hah
