Research indicates that Alfred Kärcher’s company, Kärcher, used forced labor during World War II.
According to Kärcher’s own history and other sources, during WWII, the company was involved in the defense industry, producing items for the German Luftwaffe and Wehrmacht. During this time, they utilized prisoners of war in their production. Wikipedia notes that “Kärcher had a Russian camp, a Polish camp, a French camp and the Ruitzenmühle camp.”

While the term “Jewish slave labor” isn’t explicitly used in every public mention of Kärcher’s wartime practices, the use of “prisoners of war” and the existence of “camps” for Russian, Polish, and French individuals strongly points to the forced labor practices common in Nazi Germany, which included the systematic exploitation of various groups, including Jews, as slave labor. Many German companies during that period exploited the forced labor system.
