How do these compare to the google wifi mesh system? Ordered the four pack from Costco now on sale but wondering if I should go with these instead

Iggy

Depends which Eero product you are comparing. Google wifi is based on a much older technology which is 802.11a/b/g/n/ac. Keep in mind that First generation (Google Wifi): released December 5, 2016 (United States) Second generation: released November 4, 2019

Both are great, stable mesh products. I just purchased the Eero Pro 6E and it is significantly better then the Google Wifi on every level.

Also note the trade-in offers on some of these items.
I bought the tp-link AC1750 for $40 to trade in for a $5 GC and 25% off the Eero 6E 3-pack. There might be better ways to maximize the trade-ins but that works for me.
Total net cost was $298 shipped.

Wow, thank you for this. I bought the 6+ for $139 net trading in my old Apple router.

thanks!

Would the router work with my existing Comcast Gateway cable modem? Would I have to do a direct ethernet connection?
