Yes re white. I’m on a legacy shared Prime account (not main account holder) and I’m usually eligible for Prime deals.

Worked for me, had to change method pf payment for some reason and it registered the $40 off. Question, I would give this to my son, but would want to password protect it to keep it clean for him. Anyone know if these things have such features?

it has parental control feature, you can block the bookstore, internet etc. but i’m not sure you can customize it.
(if your son has the password to your amazon account he can reset it w/o you knowing…)
I dont need him to be able to do anything besides turn on and read whatever is on it already. So this would work without him having the password?

the first time i did it it stayed at 80 – prime, final page … then i re-clicked the above link added another and dropped it back down to one in my cart and then it dropped down to $40.

I couldn’t get it to work. Added white to start but stayed at $80. Then added black, and for the two combined, it priced at ~$120 (so gave me deal on one of them). But then tried dropping the black but the single went back to $80. Have tried a bunch of combinations since then but now when adding a second it prices at $160. It looks like they might have had the base price of the white at $80 and base price of black at $120, then could apply the $40 coupon.
