I tried to do it as outlined above, it shows up as full price in the cart, when I did the trial it showed that the promo code was applied correctly.

I made the same mistake as many here did. You had to add the promo code before subscribing to 3 month trial (there is text in small to add promo (it was not clear since it said “checkout” in the post above). So I went thru the steps above on another Amazon acct I have. But it cost me .99 more due to this mistake. Unless I can cancel the trial for refund somehow??

I applied the code then i went to change cc’s then i typed in the code again and it said promo expired. but did it anyways and it still worked for the $1 echo.
Must be expired also cld mean tht they applied it to my acct already.

It just worked for me at 3:45pm Central time. At first, I entered heather gray color, and I did not get the discount. Then I went back and reviewed the instructions, and noticed that it specifically said to chose CHARCOAL as the color. When I added the echo in that color instead, I got the discount.

For some reason, this didn’t work on my Amazon account a few minutes ago, but I just tried it on a different account and it now worked.

I applied the code and I’m still seeing full price at checkout for echo gen 3 and code is not valid anymore. I picked the charcoal echo. For some reason, my bank account says I got an Amazon Music charge on pending. This is all too much.

Got the deal earlier, was charged $1 and change for the dot and received confirmation of same, only to receive a subsequent email from Amazon indicating that I am being charged full value of dot.

I put in the promo code and got the confirmation email saying I have the promotional credit but when I add the charcoal to my cart it does not apply a discount at the end. (the charcoal says it will ship Nov. 27th, the email says the credit expires 11/30) Any help?
