“Ready-to-use sauce with the secret ingredient…”. I find it funny when food companies say their product has safely guarded secret ingredients; but it must not be so secret if they are sharing the ingredients with the OU, other hechshorim, or halal certifiers for Muslims.
Are you accusing Rabbis of not being trustworthy to keep a secret? Interesting.
lol When I was in yeshiva way back when we had an opportunity on Fridays before ending the day to be able to ask our Rebbi any random halachic question on our minds. I recall someone once asked him how the Coca Cola secret is kept, if mashgichim must supervise and certify the product. The belief is that the ingredients are presented, but the secret remains how much quantity of that ingredient and the method of preparing/cooking/carbonating remain secret. Other possibilities include that Coca Cola may reveal 20 random kosher ingredients, only to use 10 true ingredients of 20 selections.
Yep, I’ve heard the same about Coke.
