I just called Amazon to see if they would price match the Walmart price and the representative said they can’t price match, but will give me a $30 promotional credit for the inconvenience!? I paid $15 dollars for the vacuum!

Spoke with Amazon after paying $15 yesterday for this. Tried for Price adjustment. They said they don’t do that. I asked if I can return the one I bought yesterday and order a new one at hte lower price and if Amazon would pay for shipping the old one back and the new one as I have Prime… they said sure.
I really did not want to do that. Requested supervisor. Supervisor was busy.
Then the rep said instead of giving you $2.75 credit can I give you a $5 giftcard added to your acct.
I said sure. But the poster above who got $30 credit. Wow.

My rep wasn’t friendly and told me it’s a different seller this time and wouldn’t offer a price match. He was basically done until I told him it’s supposed to be delivered today. He didn’t care so I told him I would just refuse delivery and they can have it back. His offer was to have UPS reroute it back to the warehouse. I ordered another while we were still chatting. I told the rep to pass on this doesn’t make sense as it actually cost them more than $2.75 in the end.
