ink is expensive. about 6 cents a sheet for Canon ink, and off brands are not much cheaper.
And then there is a drum needs to be replaced every 12,000 sheets for $90 , about 1 cent a sheet

I just got the email went immediately to the site and it’s $136!
I like the Office Depot unit for twenty more bucks. It has a scanner on it. I think it is basically this unit with a scan/copy feature.
