I have this product… You’re supposed to use finely ground coffee with it. I find that too much of the grounds seep through the metal filter and some of the coffee gets a bit muddy.
I had the same issue. An easy fix, I use a coffee filter in the metal filter. No grounds get in and clean up is easier too
