THESE NEED SPECIAL LABELS FOR KOSHER!!!
Not true according to Ricola:
https://www.ricola.com/en-us/meta/faq
Was discussed on ddf paging @timt
Since when does a non-Jewish food producers claims (in their financial self-interest) on their own website have any neimunus for kashrus?!
He also posted the letter from the Rav Hamachshir….
Dan delete this. Not Kosher without special label

It needs a special Hechsher. I run a grocery,, we need to ordered from a third party. Can’t sell without the label. This can’t be ordered
It sure worked!
Yes just in time for the winter cough season
Amazing deal, thanks!
Something to help my stay awake in class
Dan, is that a trustworthy kosher certificate that Ricola has?

There has been a number of rabbinim who said these are not kosher even if it has an OU! I’m certainly not going to use it because Ricola says it’s kosher!
The Crc (Chicago) is pretty liberal and they recommend only a few flavors of ricola. Not this one. That should tell you something.
See page 90
To midnight dan/grocery store owner. You are 100% wrong. I believed that as well until I was in desperate need for some and went to a jewish pharmacy. They had without a label and I approached the owner, he said look online every bag is under the same hechsher just like that label they stick on and charge you an extra $2 per bag!!!!!!!!! They lead you to believe this false stuff you do NOT need the extra sticker.
I agree with above, and Dan, I do not understand why the label makes it any more kosher. The package is factory sealed and had they altered the ingredients to make it more kosher, it would have been in special packaging. There is pure profit on the “extra label”, and do not see a reason to pay double, if the OU approves. The same goes for twizzlers, double the price for that same product, just with a yellow kashrut label
The twizzlers with the extra hasgocho is most likely a special run with yoshon flour. Don’t knock it.
If you dont believe the ricola website call the Rabbi listed on the cert yourself
Update DEAD!
Slots: that may be true
Not kosher according to my rov
