I use this for my Plata. You can program it to turn on via your phone. The key for us is that you can have it turn on/off at sunrise or sunset with an offset of +/- 0-59 minutes. I want my Plata to turn on at candle lighting time, so I set it to come on at 18 minutes before sunset and off at 9:00PM on Fridays. This way, I never need to make adjustments to the settings.
