When they sign you up in the store with the voucher, that’s when they add auto renew. At least that is the way it worked the last time I signed up with the Groupon
If I get a Costco membership and buy tires which have a 5 year warranty as well as lifetime rotation will the warranty and rotation still be valid if my membership expires? Do I need to have the membership to go in to get it rotated?

You can only if she is not an additional Household member on your account.
Even then, not sure why that should disqualify you as you were only added, not an actual card holder.
But for 20 bucks have any other family member make an account and add you.
In 2018 I was the Costco member with an extra card for my wife. When this promotion ran in 2019, I let my membership lapse and my wife opened a new account with me as the extra card. I assume that since I have not been a member for a year, I’ll be able to use this promo again

It’s a dumb system. When you enter the Costco shop card, the credit card with auto-renewal disappears. The groupon instructions therefore make no sense. We’ll see what happens.
I called Costco membership at 800-774-2678, they set the auto renewal for me and said I should be good to receive the gift cards. Will see what happens.

Any person with a valid credit card can purchase gas at Costco no need to be a member.
That’s only true in NJ/NY due to state law AFAIK.
Truth be told that’s only place I’ve went to Costco to fill up gas.
I am in Monsey and I always fill up in Costco nanuet without membership

Instacart adds a premium of like 20% to the price even if you do it through Costco.com you just won’t pay the shipping that way.

Btw, I did this last week and got to Costco’s confirmation page that showed membership number (BH I took a screenshot) but I never got any confirmation email from Costco and can’t login to Costco’s website. When I try “forgot password” it says a link was sent reset password but it doesn’t actually send an email.

To answer my own Question it seems it will take 4-6 weeks after opening an account and enrolling in auto renewal.
Can you upload or send in the headshots, or do we need to set foot inside a Costco to have our pictures taken?
For me it was worth every second going into Costco to get the picture taken.
There was a social distancing line around the block at least 45 minutes.
Went in through the exit and Bam I was in without waiting and the picture was so unclear because they take it through the plexi glass and all. But what do I care.
Total time I spent was 5 min.
Just bring a printout with some reference with the membership never and license.

ANON, it appears there are hundreds of not thousands of customers who have not received $40$40off. I’ve been stonewalled by Groupon and Costco. Stay tuned.
