Back in 2021, Priority Pass stopped working for access to Plaza Premium Lounges.
That was no big deal for Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card X, AMEX Consumer Platinum Card, or AMEX Business Platinum Card cardholders, as they have Plaza Premium lounge access in addition to Priority Pass. However other cards with just Priority Pass, like Chase Sapphire Reserve®, lost Plaza Premium lounge access.
Thankfully, most of them can once again be accessed with Priority Pass.
These 39 lounges can be accessed immediately, and another 24 will come back online on 6/20.
Plaza Premium is valid for entrance at lounges like the El Al/Blush Lounge in London/LHR that offer kosher meals.
Unfortunately, Priority Pass cardholders won’t be able to access Virgin Atlantic Clubhouses, such as those in JFK, Newark, and Washington DC. The JFK location even offers kosher food and wine.
You’ll need to be flying business class on a qualifying airline (such as El Al) or have an AMEX Platinum or Venture X card to access those lounges as the Plaza Premium benefit on those cards includes access to most Virgin Atlantic Clubhouses.
[Update: Commenters point out that you can exclusively enter the Virgin Atlantic JFK location between the hours of 8am-1:30pm daily with Priority Pass and you can order kosher food and wine. However you’ll need a Plaza Premium card to access it between 5am-8am or 2pm-10:30pm. Go figure!]

Interesting, have you used it then with Priority Pass? Can you get kosher food and wine then?
Google and Plaza Premium shows their opening hours as 5am-8am and 2pm-1030pm. Though the lounge stayed open for the 1:30am El Al flight we took last year.

They only accept priority pass between the hours mentioned but they did allow you to scan the QR code and order kosher food.
I did not order the sesame chicken at 9 am.
I did I flew 11:00 AM flight with Elal economy class I got access with priority pass and I got kosher food.
It was very connivant because its next to the Elal gate.
yes was just there last week – once you get in its exactly same service –
from what i understand they wont even let virgin passengers in during those hours (once their morning flight left) its exclusive for priority pass
The Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse at JFK terminal 4 seems to show up as a lounge that I can access with priority pass based on their website/app. Or is that not the one you are referring to?
Been to plaza premium in Taipei recently – really good one. Amex Platinum card is unbeatable for the lounge access.

tbh, I went to the VA lounge in JFK in Sept. and it was grimy and had terrible seating. Nothing to write home about imo

Great to finally have lounge access in YYZ going to the US. The web site states 2 hour limit. Only the cheap alcohol is complimentary. At breakfast the iogo yogurt is kosher.

Last month I had Premium Economy on El Al and went with Priority Pass and were denied as they no longer in contract with the Pass.

How do Venture X card holders get a Plaza Premium card?
You don’t, your credit card functions as that.
But you can get get a Priority Pass card that works for that now.
When speaking about 2 free guest, can anyone bring in a guest even if they are not on the same reservation? Essentially making it worthwhile to ask anyone entering if they can take me along?

@dan, if I want to bring in more then 2 guests at plaza premium would I be allowed to bring 2 in under venture x and 2 more under priority pass or is that not going to work?
