Last week President Trump lifted the entry ban on foreign nationals who have recently been to Brazil, Europe, and the UK.

At the time, the Biden administration said they would reverse that and sure enough, President Biden will reinstate the ban tomorrow.

Additionally, President Biden will add a ban on foreign nationals who have been to South Africa recently. That will go into effect on 1/30 with the hope to avoid people bringing the South African variant of COVID into the US. However US citizens will still be able to go to and from South Africa.

Starting on Tuesday the US will require a negative COVID test in order to fly from abroad to the US. The US may also begin requiring a quarantine when returning from abroad.

Banning Africans from coming the US? What a racist!

Omg, totally! What’s next? Banning East Africans, West Africans, and Southwestern Africans?! Maybe even South-by-Southwestern Africans!

Oh wait. It’s just a ban on nationals of any country who happen to have been to South Africa in the next 14 days (excepting US citizens).

How many days before the return flight to the US so you need a negative test?

Slow Joe

But he lifted the ban on people coming from Iran, Syria, Somalia, Yemen and Libya and more. Now we are truly safe
