Can you link your card with PayPal Key to use anywhere and still earn the bonus points like you can with the Chase Freedom?
No, doesn’t work with AMEX.

Freedom IMHO, but that’s capped at $1,500 vs $6,250 on Marriott.

Wouldn’t you max out the offer with $5000 spend, not $6,250? The offer states: “Thatās 8 bonus points on top of the points you already earn with your Card for eligible purchases.”

I used at egifter and pay with paypal to use the gpay promo $10 off $40. The 8x points posted in my account several days later.
