JetBlue is offering 15% off award tickets with the following rules:

  • Book an award flight by 4/25
  • Fly 4/29-6/20.
  • Discount not available for travel 5/22-5/28.
  • Monday–Thursday travel only (not valid for fights on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).
  • Not valid in Mint class.
  • When you search for an eligible award flight, the award fare that you see will automatically include the discount.

If you have a JetBlue Plus consumer or business card you’ll also get a 10% rebate when redeeming JetBlue points.

You can transfer points to JetBlue from:

  • Chase Ultimate Rewards premium cards at a 1K:1K ratio.
  • Citi ThankYou points premium cards at a 1K:1K ratio.
  • AMEX premium cards points transfer to JetBlue at a subpar 1K:800 ratio
  • Marriott points transfer at a meager 60K:12.5K ratio.

Should you transfer points? Let’s take a look at the value of JetBlue points after the 15% off discount on a few routes:

  • A flight from JFK to Chicago on 5/14 is $69.30 or 3,500 points+$5.60, a value of 1.82 cents per point. JetBlue Plus Cardholders will effectively pay 3,150 points, a value of 2.02 cents per point.
  • A flight from Newark to Fort Lauderdale on 5/14 is $72.30 or 3,800 points+$5.60, a value of 1.76 cents per point. JetBlue Plus Cardholders will effectively pay 3,420 points, a value of 1.95 cents per point.
