Register For IHG Business And Get 1,000 Points, Extend The Life Of Your IHG Points

Register a business name via the link above and you’ll get 1,000 IHG points added to your account within 30 days. As with business credit cards, you can always register yourself as a sole-proprietorship.

Just click on “Join now to be an IHG® Business Rewards member and receive 1,000 points.”

IHG requires activity every 12 months, so this will extend the life of your points for another year.

IHG awards start at just 5K points.

For a limited time only, the Chase IHG card is offering 80K points after spending $1,000 within 3 months. You can also get an additional 5K points for adding a free additional user card.

You can view credit card offers by hovering over the “Credit Cards” tab. You can then view hotel cards “Hotel Credit Cards“ or you can choose to view “credit cards from all banks.

The card’s $49 annual fee is waived for the first year.

The Chase IHG card is not subject to the Chase 5/24 guidelines, so you can get approved even if you have 5 or more approved consumer card applications within the past 24 months.

You can get the signup bonus as long as you haven’t received an IHG signup bonus within the past 24 months.

An excellent perk of the card is the annual free anniversary night that is valid at any IHG in the world. The free night can even be used at Intercontinental hotels where hotel rates are normally up to $1,000 or 60K points per night in places like Bora Bora, London, Hong Kong, etc. It’s worth hanging onto the card just for this perk alone.

IHG cardholders also get Platinum IHG elite status and they get a 10% rebate on all points redeemed, making 5K hotels cost 4.5K and top-tier 60K hotels cost 54K points.

Is it worth signing up for a new account, getting the 1000 points and then transferring it to ihg reg account for $5 per 1,000 points?

Do I select “If you are already a member of IHG® Business Rewards, register now to receive your 1,000 points.” or “Join now to be an IHG® Business Rewards member and receive 1,000 points.” With the former it already has my club member number but asks for a promotion code.

Azar

Doesn’t work, asking for Promotion code

Once I get the 1K IHG Biz points, how do I merge them with my regular IHG account? If they can’t be merged, 1K IHG isn’t worth much.

Used my Chase free night at the new Intercontinental Los Angeles Downtown. The hotel is on the top half of a 73 story building. The place is absolutely gorgeous. In addition because of the Platinum status that comes with the credit card we got two free drinks on the rooftop bar, out of this world.
What a great usage of $49.
