Hilton currently has a promo for stays through 9/5. You can now register for stays from 9/6 through the end of the year.
- Earn double base points on stays from 9/6-12/31
- Earn another 2,000 bonus if you checkout on Monday-Friday.
Hilton normally awards non-elites 10 base points per dollar, Silver elites 12 total points per dollar, Gold elites 18 total points per dollar, and Diamond elites 20 total points per dollar.
- A non-elite would earn 20 points per dollar with this promo.
- Hilton AMEX cardholders get Silver status and 7 points per dollar spent on Hilton, so with this bonus they would earn 29 points per dollar with this promo.
- Hilton Surpass and Hilton Business AMEX cardholders get Gold status and 12 points per dollar spent on Hilton, so with this bonus they would earn 40 points per dollar with this promo.
- Hilton Aspire cardholders get Diamond status and 14 points per dollar spent on Hilton, so with this bonus they would earn 44 points per dollar with this promo.
For example, an Aspire cardholder making a 1 night stay costing $100 and checking out on a weekday would earn a total of 6,400 points! If you value Hilton points at 0.5 cents each, that’s like a 32% rebate on the cost of the stay.
