You can book up to 2 reservations per hotel. There’s no limit to how long each of the stays can be.
You can stay in any PointBreaks hotel for 5,000 IHG points.
IHG sells 5,000 points for $67.50 (or less via targeted offers after you sign in). My account is targeted for a 100% bonus on purchases of 21K+. I can purchase 60K points for just $345 or just $28.75 per 5K points.
If those points don’t post instantly you can call IHG to get a points loan based on your purchase confirmation number in order to quickly grab a room. Alternatively you can transfer 5,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points to IHG, though transfers are not instant. It’s a terrible use of Ultimate Rewards points (as they’re were more than twice that to brokers or when transferred to other airlines or hotels), but it allows you to start buying points for 0.7 cents each.
If you already have IHG points in your account then you can buy points on the cheap via making a cash and points booking.
Be sure to click on the rules during the checkout process to make sure that the room is fully refundable (almost all are):
-The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Meadowlands allows you to redeem 5K points and $70 for a night, just click “more options” and then select rewards nights. If you cancel that night you’ll get back 15K total points, so you’ll have effectively purchased 10K points for $70, or just $35 per 5K points.
-The Candlewood Suites Secaucus allows you to redeem 10K points and $99 for a night. If you cancel that night you’ll get back 25K total points, so you’ll have effectively purchased 15K points for $99, or just $33 per 5K points.
-The Crowne Plaza White Plains allows you to redeem 10K points and $125 for a night. If you cancel that night you’ll get back 30K total points, so you’ll have effectively purchased 20K points for $125, or just $31.25 per 5K points.

just a quick question dan im having difficulty transferring my credit line from my amex consumer to another amex consumer i have bec of the 13 billing cycles need for credit reallocation is there a way arnd that? i wanted to close 2 amex cards only after i transferred the credit line and im afraid that these 2 k line of credit cards each will hurt m y credit score please let me know thanks

They did require me to enter my credit card info even though I had the 5000 points available.
