Earn Starpoints with the Starwood Consumer or Business AMEX or the Chase Marriott Consumer or Business Visa. You can view credit card offers by hovering over the “Credit Cards” tab. You can click on “Top Credit Card Offers“ and then hover over “Card Type” to find card offers from the bank you’re looking for.

Link your Marriott and Twitter accounts here and you’ll get 250 points. You can earn up to 1,000 points by linking your Facebook and Instagram accounts and following Marriott as well.

After linking your account you get another 1,000 points by replying to this Tweet by 8pm EDT with: 11 #RewardsPoints

You can convert points in either direction between Starwood and Marriott at a 1:3 ratio.

While points earned via Marriott social media won’t extend the life of your Marriott points, transferring points from Marriott to Starwood will extend the life of your Starpoints.

every week you can get 1000 points or only for first time linkers i linked mine last week and tweeted it out

These are not posting to my account, even though I got confirmation that the Twitter and my Marriott account are linked. Where can I get help on this?

PSA: make sure your Twitter account is open and not locked in order for you to get the points. I’ve been doing it for a bunch of weeks without anything getting posted to my account and they finally told me that I need to follow the promotion rules which states that it must be open. I pm’d them asking if they can credit me the points now that it’s open and they refused. If anyone has any ideas how I can get the 5000 or so points that I should have gotten, it would be greatly appreciated.

interesting how marriott works with these points, i see i have a balance but my activity only shows this: “We’re sorry, but your points expired on 02/01/16. Our records show no account activity for at least 24 months. If you believe we missed something, please contact customer support.”
