You can get a 30% bonus for point transfers from Chase to BA, Iberia, or Aer Lingus Avios. You can also transfer BA Avios to Finnair Avios or Qatar Avios, where you can redeem awards for fewer miles. You can combine Avios via this link via the BA site.
With this bonus 1,000 Chase points transfers into 1,300 Avios. This promotion runs through 10/31.
Avios aren’t what they used to be. British Airways seems to devalue them every few months, bringing them from first to worst in no time.
You can also save with the Qatar award chart or the Finnair award chart, which is the only Avios program that doesn’t charge per leg flown.
You can search for award availability using BA Avios here. Finnair or Qatar should be able to book any award space that you find using BA Avios for fewer Avios, but you may need to call them to book.

On qatar website LHR > JFK B6 2220 25,000 Avios + $201.21 taxes and fees are pretty high, am i missing something?
