Just as a head’s up I booked two of these but the second reservation went into my name instead of my son’s, I saw this immediately and called to cancel. A few minutes later I received an email stating that the ticket could not be cancelled and they were cancelling my refund of points. This went back and forth for days. I sent a copy of the email to DOT and even then it took almost a week to get my points back. After I sent copies of the correspondence to the DOT, they complied with my request for 5000 miles compensation. So, with a lot of work, I paid only 8000 mikes for my ticket. Do not be afraid to contact DOT if they try to violate the same24 hour cancellation rule. Good thing they put their shenanagins in writing.
Will not work for JFK (hidden city). Searched TLV-MSP for dates that are available for 13k. On Fri 9-13 there are seats to MSP for 13k, but not through JFK. The flight thru JFK is available for 29k
There is also the bofa Air France crédit card
On the website it says 14,500 one way,
How come its bookable for 13k?
Not complaining though!!
Some dates are 12,750
How long does it take to transfer from Amex to Flying Blue?
Instant.
FYI, it took literally 6 weeks for my SPG Marriot points to transfer to Flying Blue, in January. Since the merger, they are very slow.
