Transfer Citi ThankYou Points Or Hotel Points To Avianca Lifemiles And Get A 25% Bonus! Redeem United Award Flights For Just 6,000 Points!

You can transfer increments of 1,000 Citi ThankYou Points into 1,300 Avianca Lifemiles through 6/28/19 at 11:59pm MT. The 30% bonus is added by Lifemiles. The terms state that the bonus can take 45 days, but typically Lifemiles posts the bonus within a day.

For a limited time you can earn 60,000 points with the Citi Premier card. Read more about the card here.

This bonus will revert to 25% after tomorrow, through 7/5.

Note that Avianca Lifemiles require earning activity every 12 months in order to stop your miles from expiring. Transferring points to Lifemiles will extend the points validity for 12 more months.

With this promotion you’ll be able to redeem United award flights for less than 6,000 points each way! You can read more about that and all about the Avianca Lifemiles program in this post.

Any body know why is it only 6000 miles from Boston to Newark, NJ Instead of the reg. 7500 miles required for a short-haul flight. Even more interesting is that vice versa is 7500 miles. Any other city that is short-haul flight thats also 6000 miles?

Dan, I’ve had activity on my lifemiles account and it’s saying points expire Jan 31 2020 and on wife’s account Dec 31 2019? It should give 12 months? Thanks

The extra 5% is only if I transfer from TY or also from hotel points ?

Good morning Dan, you said they require eating activity, is transferring points into it considered earning activity? Thanks

Thank you! Just did it! Thanks GS!

dan if i cant get my amex points transferred from amex to qantas till sunday would I still be eligible for the 44% bonus

Just transferred and only got 25% bonus. That happened instantly. Makes sense that the additional 5% will come separately?

Any idea Dan? Still don’t see the additional 5%

Ok so the additional 5% posted today. Interesting data point.
