Ends Today! Get A 100% Bonus And Discounted Pricing When Purchasing IHG Points!

An IHG account is required, you can join here for free.

IHG normally sells points directly for 1.15 cents each. You can also transfer points from Chase, but that’s a criminal use of Chase points. Of course there’s a hack to buy their points at .7 cents each but with the current sale you can buy them directly for less than that without jumping through hoops. And that hack requires that you have points to start with.

Points are on sale for just 1 cent each and IHG will also double all the points you purchase. To get the lowest rate (.5 cents per point) you’ll need to purchase at least 26K points which will be doubled to 52K points for $260. Of course you’ll also earn points on your credit card which will make the effective rate less than .5 cents per point.

If you have the Chase IHG Rewards Club Premier credit card you’ll also get 10% of your points back every time you redeem them, making the effective cost per point even less than that. Click Here to get more details on this card and compare to other hotel cards!

You can purchase 60K points per member per year, so you can get up to 120K points with this promotion which would cost $600.

Note that IHG points require activity every 12 months, but you can just redeem for a hotel award and then cancel it to extend the expiration for another 12 months!

IHG runs PointBreaks which allows you to book rooms at rotating hotels starting at just 5,000 points per night. That’s just $25 for a room if you buy points at .5 cents each. Those hotels rotate every couple of months.

If you have an IHG card you’ll get 10% of your points back, dropping the cost to just 4,500 points or $22.50 with this promotion.

Plus you don’t pay tax on award nights.

There are also good values to be had at high-end properties in NYC, London, Paris etc. For example an overwater bungalow in Bora Bora can go for as much as $1,000 with tax but costs just 70K points. That’s just $350 at .5 cents per point. IHG cardholders would pay just 63K points ($315) after the rebate.

There are several IHG hotels in Israel. They won’t necessarily be a deal with this promotion, but they may be depending on the price of your desired travel dates.

  • Crowne Plaza Jerusalem: 18K-20K ($90-$100)
  • Crowne Plaza Eilat: 18K-20K ($90-$100)
  • Crowne Plaza Dead Sea: 22.5K-25K ($112.50-125)
  • Hotel Indigo Tel Aviv Diamond District: 22.5K-25K ($112.50-125)
  • Crowne Plaza Haifa: 27K-30K ($135-$150)
  • Crowne Plaza Tel Aviv Beach: 27K-30K ($135-$150)
  • Crowne Plaza Tel Aviv City Center: 27K-30K ($135-$150)
  • InterContinental David Tel Aviv: 45K-50K ($225-$250)

The Chase IHG Rewards Club Premier credit card is offering 80K points after spending $2,000 within 3 months. Click Here to get more details on this card and compare to other hotel cards!

The Chase IHG card is not subject to the Chase 5/24 guidelines, so you can get approved even if you have 5 or more approved consumer card applications within the past 24 months.

You can get the signup bonus as long as you haven’t received an IHG signup bonus within the past 24 months.

An excellent perk of the card is the annual free anniversary night that is valid at any IHG in the world. The free night can even be used at Intercontinental hotels where hotel rates are normally up to $1,000 or 70K points per night in places like Bora Bora, London, Hong Kong, etc. It’s worth hanging onto the card just for this perk alone.

IHG cardholders also get Platinum IHG elite status and they get a 10% rebate on all points redeemed, making 5K hotels cost 4.5K and top-tier 70K hotels cost 63K points.

Jerusalem’s newest luxury hotel will also be an IHG hotel.

Will you buy IHG points at this rate?
