Update: This deal is now live. Staples has changed the rebate from a Staples gift card to a Visa gift card.

If you buy $300+ in Mastercard or Visa gift cards from Staples between 9/3 and 9/9 you can send in an Easy Rebate online to get a bonus $15 Staples gift card.
This is valid in-store only. Officially there is a limit of 1 rebate per household.
If you buy 2 $200 gift cards in store you’ll pay $13.90 in card fees. (A $200 gift card and a $100 gift card would have $12.90 in fees).
Use your Chase Ink Cash, Ink Plus or Ink Bold card and get 5 points per dollar spent. Or you can use an AMEX SimplyCash card to earn 5% cash back. You can view credit card offers by clicking on the “Credit Card Offers” tab on top of the DansDeals banner to view links for card offers. You can click on the link that says “View all card offers by issuing bank” and scroll down to view all card offers from the bank of your choice. Here’s How To View Credit Card Offers On This Site.
That’s 2,070 points for a $413.90 purchase. Plus you’ll get the $15 Staples card via Easy Rebate.
With Visa gift cards you can buy money orders at Walmart or at various grocery stores and gas stations. Just use the last 4 digits of the card as the PIN number to cash them out.
Mastercard gift cards should have the PIN number in the package. They’re a bit trickier to use at WalMart, you need to hit cancel on the keypad after swiping it in order to change it to a debit payment before using it to load Bluebird, buying money orders, or using bill pay. You can also buy money orders at various grocery stores and gas stations.
Or you can donate the gift card to charity and get a receipt for the full $200 face value.
Or you can give away a gift card as a wedding or Bar Mitzvah gift.
Or you can always use it for everyday spending while earning 5% or 5 points per dollar.

Guys, pay attention this is a $15 store credit not the usual $15 Visa card. You may have trouble finding reasonably priced goods to which to apply Staples store credit.
Correct . Enough offers of $15 visa rebate (which is not a small hassle to get, activate, call them with issues of not working etc)
I didn’t see it in the weekly ad.
It’s for next week.
I checked next week’s ad (that’s what I meant)
Dan, thought you were against posting deals until they were live.
Definitely a fan since I like to buy them on Sunday morning. Makes it easier to plan ahea
Good idea, but it should be more prominently mentioned that it is not yet live (maybe bold), especially because you haven’t been doing this in the past.
Purchase dates are in bold, not enough?
does this still offer 5 points per dollar they dont mention it ?
No, that’s why I wrote Ink Cash, Ink Plus, or Ink Bold
that means it was dicontinued
Given the choice of Visa or MC, please choose Visa. MC are prone to hacking. You may lose your funds before you use them.
Is this offer only good in store or online works as well?
Have ink bold
Spend 6k at staples a year
(Hard to liquidate to MO)
Justify AF or better downgrade to ink cash ?
