Buy $300 In Visa Gift Cards From Staples This Week And Get A Free $20 Visa Gift Card Via Easy Rebate

If you buy $300+ in Visa gift cards from Staples between 11/6 and 11/12 you can send in an Easy Rebate online to get a bonus $20 Visa gift card.

This is valid in-store only. Officially there is a limit of 1 rebate per household.

If you buy 2 $200 Visa gift card in store you’ll pay $13.90 in card fees. (A $200 gift card and a $100 gift card would have $12.90 in fees).

That’s 2,070 points for a $413.90 purchase. Plus you’ll get the $20 Visa card via Easy Rebate.

While now carries $300 gift cards, I haven’t seen any reports of the $300 cards being found in stores yet.

Use your Chase Ink Plus or Chase Ink Cash card and get 5 points per dollar spent. You can view credit card offers by clicking on the “Credit Card Offers” tab on top of the DansDeals banner to view links for card offers.

You can use the gift cards to buy money orders at Walmart or at various grocery stores, gas stations or at some post offices. Just use the last 4 digits of the card as the PIN number to cash them out.

Or you can donate the gift card to charity and get a receipt for the full $200 face value.

Or you can give away a gift card as a wedding or Bar Mitzvah gift.

Or you can always use it for everyday spending.

What is the best way to cleanse these since they don’t work at USPS for MO??

Is this separate from the recent deal?

@Richie Rich:
It works at some POs, but not all. Go figure. Try WM, gas stations, grocery stores, etc.

Just to clarify. It only pays to buy gift cards if you can get the $20 rebate, otherwise you defeat the purpose of the 5x if you have to pay 3.5 percent to buy the gift cards. However you said you can get 250,000 points if you but $50,000 worth of gift cards. How can you get $50,000 worth without paying 3.5percent for most of it?

$206.95 for a $200 gift card means paying $6.95 for 1,035 points. That’s under 0.7% due to 5x.

Of course the gift cards make it better than free.

new or old

#1 i did the rebate two weeks (thanx to you:)) ago can i get it for this weeks deal too? or is it considered the same deal?
#2 also how long do you have to apply for the rebate in general?

All my business cards -including the additionals- have a Amex offer $25 off $100 at staples

I have like 10 credit cards including several Chase ones but not Chase Ink. Do any of the other chase cards give 5 points per $1 spent at office supply stores? (Saphirre preferred, reserve, unlimited…)? I also have the Citi Prestige Thank You Points Card not sure if that would work here?

Joe Barker

Hello, can this be used towards a credit card purchase limit for the sign up bonus?

@Joe Barker: yes.

Thanx to your steady stream of tweets about these Staples offers we are able to accumulate 25k+ free UR points per year. Keep it up !

@Cubs Fan: No………and no.

hi dan, im very interested in these posts about buying gift cards but im not sure how this benefits me. if i buy the gift card i am able to get that money back into my chase bank account? if so how?

Can this offer be combined with the Amex Staples offer? which way would it be more lucrative?

Why do you say “officially” in italics. is there away to to do more than one rebate?

I took my visa gift cards to Walmart and they said can’t give money orders for gift cards even if they are debit cards. Please help!!

I can’t find a place to buy money orders for the gift cards. The post office rejected it and so did Walmart
