Hyatt sucks lately cannot compete with Marriott anymore they have a lot of aging properties in the US and barely open any new properties, marriott keeps adding a ton of brand new properties which is nice
Hyatt has a valuable loyalty program. Marriott does not.
But have nothing of it if I cannot find a normal nice decent property
Plenty of amazing Hyatt properties out there, though there are some cities where they are lacking.
if opening a cc, I would rather open one offering 50K chase UR points for same AF. this gives me flexibility and I could always transfer to Hyatt points if desired. any reason to get Hyatt?
