Get A 100% Bonus When You Buy Hilton Points

From now through 9/30, you can get a 100% bonus when you buy Hilton points.

For example, 80K points are normally $800 and with this sale you’ll get 160K points for $800. That’s just 0.5 cents per point.

Need more than 160K points? Friends and Family can transfer Hilton points to each other for free, so you can buy points from multiple accounts and then transfer them!

Earn points with Hilton consumer cards or The Hilton Honors American Express Business Card.

That will only make sense to buy if you have a specific redemption in mind or if you need more points to have enough to redeem for a 5 night stay, but I wouldn’t buy points speculatively due to the risk of devaluation, room availability, and hotels being able to leave the Hilton brand.

If you have a Hilton credit card or elite status you get the 5th night free on all award redemptions.

When will it make sense to buy points? An overwater villa with a private pool in the Conrad Maldives can cost $1,500-$3,500 after tax, but its bookable for just 95K points. That’s like paying $475/night with points from this deal. If you have a Hilton credit card or elite status and stay for 5 nights you’ll need just 76K points/night or just $380/night if you buy points for 0.5 cents each.

5 nights in the Maldives is pretty much the definition of Heaven on Earth. Read more about the Conrad Maldives here.

The Maldives are currently open for Americans.

Most Hilton hotels are capped at a cost of 95K points per night for a standard room, but the new Waldorf Astoria Maldives costs 120K-150K points/night. If you have a Hilton credit card or elite status and stay for 5 nights you’ll need 96K-120K points/night or from just $480/night if you buy points for 0.5 cents each.

Best of all, the Waldorf Astoria Maldives now allows for point redemptions on overwater villas with a pool!

That’s an incredible value compared to the paid rates:

The Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal is now bookable for 120K points per night as well. It’s Trip Advisor’s top ranked hotel in Cabo and is Travel + Leisure’s World’s top resort in Mexico this year.

Similar to the Waldorf Astoria Maldives, you’ll need a whopping 120K points per night, though with Hilton’s devalued currency that’s still a bargain.

With a 5 night stay you can pay 96K points per night with the 5th night free award that is available to Hilton cardholders and elites.

Even the base rooms come with a private plunge pool.

Sample paid rate versus the points rate:

That’s $6,735 after tax versus 480K for a 5 night stay, a value of 1.4 cents per Hilton point. That value will vary by date, but is very good for Hilton points. You can currently buy points on sale for just 0.5 cents each. 480K points would cost $2,400 or $480/night, a fraction of the paid rates at this hotel.

Chabad of Cabo has tourist information on their website and operates a kosher restaurant. They’re located just 1.2 miles from the Waldorf! Discuss more about Cabo on DDF here.

The Waldorf Astoria Jerusalem charges 95K points per night when they have standard room availability.

If you have a Hilton credit card or elite status and stay for 5 nights you’ll need 76K points/night or $380/night with this deal.

The Waldorf Astoria Jerusalem is one of the finest hotels in Israel.

There is a mind-boggling quantity of awesome kosher food at the hotel’s daily breakfast, from dozens of daily hot dishes to hard cheeses, fresh fruits and pastries to fresh squeezed juices, as well as on-demand dishes like french toast, pancakes, waffles, and eggs. Unlimited wine, hot or cold chocolate drinks, and espresso drinks are included as well!

Breakfast is free on points stays if you have Gold or Diamond status, which you can get just by having a Hilton credit card.

With a breakfast like this, you may not even be hungry for dinner…

Any good redemptions in Maui or Kauai?

Anonymous

Looks like I can get 2 rooms for 5 nights at $1600. Thanks Dan!

Avrumi

Where?

Anonymous

Hilton Garden Inn Kauai Wailua Bay

Not a St Regis or Waldorf, but probably the best you’ll get for $1600 in Kauai.

Avrumi

Not visiting Maui? I’m thinking about a winter trip.

Avrumi

How got rooms for $200/night?

Rf

This works on any Miami hotels?

Anonymous

It’s good you won’t be hungry for dinner because the Waldorf isn’t mehadrin anymore, it’s plain rabbanut which isn’t even glatt. I don’t think your readers would be eating that.

Abe

How often do they have this deal?

Hey,
Would love to book an over weather Vila in the Maldives but I can’t find one for under 685,000 points per night.
Is the 95k only for the weather front not the over wther?
Is there a points calendar that can be used to help search?

Aryeh Sonnenberg

I’m considering a 5-night, 400K, $3,200 stay at Waldorf in Orlando. What’s the best way to do that? I have no Hilton points yet nor their credit card. Point transfer with bonus, purchase?

Aryeh Sonnenberg

I should add that I have CapOne, Amex, CUR, and Citi points, and a Sapphire Reserve.

Shia

IS there Minyan at the Maldives?

Aryeh

I got this message when I tried to purchase “Sorry, purchasing Points is not available at this time”

Krunal

Same here, any update?

Michael

Why are the overwater villas all 600K points per night? Looking for days in November.

Ari

How do I get warldorf for 380 a night can’t figure it out

nathan

i tried booking the one in cabo and its a whopping 560k per night not sure where the cap on nightly rate on points is at

FranK

Not letting me purchase points it says Sorry, purchasing Points is not available at this time

Valentin

I did purchase points last time without a specific redemption because I wanted to add to the Hilton points from AMEX. I was very lucky this winter break: I was able to book 4 nights + 1 (Hilton credit card) at the lowest 120K rate a day at Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal using the flexible rates. They even upgraded the room (to ocean view), and the continental breakfast was free with the gold membership! Plus, one of the five nights was the New Year’s!

Lucille

Not letting me purchase as of 1/20/2022 – “Sorry, purchasing Points is not available at this time”
What a bummer, thought promotion was lasting until 2/9/22.

Joe

Award availability is so hard to get anywhere.

Valentin

Need luck and constant checking. On a different note, it does look that when I convert the points with 100% bonus to $$, the price is a little better and you pay no taxes; which works particularly on 5 night stays.

Valentin

Purchased these points twice, they work toward the sign up credit card bonuses. One was for AMEX BUS, the other one for AMEX Hilton.

BG

Does the Waldorf in Jerusalem have a pool yet??

Motty

Just booked Conrad Maldives for 95k a night for 4 nights thank you Dan

Yoli

Hello
What is the trick in booking the Maldives?
I can’t find anything for 120,000 points a night. Do you have to book it one year in advance? Help please. 🙂

dani

hilton website says no option to buy points is this still alive?

ITA

Is this promotion still live? I don’t see the 100% bonus. 80,000 points for $800
