IHG has an awesome offer for Kimpton hotels. I noted earlier this year that there was a $60 off $300 Kimpton AMEX Offer, so if you saved that offer you can save even more! Unfortunately that offer does not appear to be available if you haven’t already saved it to your account.
The free IHG night has no cap, so you can use it at Intercontinental hotels in places like Bora Bora, Hong Kong, and London where rooms go for 70,000 points per night!
For example a stay at the Kimpton Hotel Monaco Baltimore from May 27-29 is $124 per night with the IHG non-refundable rate and that stay will earn a free systemwide IHG night! Plus you’ll also earn points from the stay! That’s not quite as good as I was doing with Hyatt back in the good old days of Faster Free Nights, but it’s a pretty sweet offer.

If I reserve 2 rooms does that count as 2 stays?
U and your wife should book each room for 2 nights separately with 2 numbers so each will get a free night cert.
if i book 10 consecutive nights at one hotel with the same ihg number will i get 5 free nights? or is it capped at one night per stay no matter how many nights you stay? thanks
can the free night be used at kimpton cayman islands
Do you have to check in and out of the reserved hotel to get the free night?
Not a bad deal if you’re the kind of person who regularly buys insanely expensive hotel rooms. Like I’m visiting Boston next month and just priced the Kimpton there. The rate is $400/night. So I can spend $800 + tax to get a “free” hotel room. I think I’ll just use my points instead. 🙂
