@q:
No offense but grow up. I got married in a shul but that doesn’t mean I can’t appreciate that people having a wedding in a Marriott would want to save 19%. And I thought it was awesome when I heard from someone who did just that.

It’s not called “feeling bad” it’s called being jealous. Personally I could care less if my wedding would have been in a hotel. It’s pretty sad if you feel badly about not being able to afford that. I’ve heard of folks feeling badly for not being able to afford a vacation (obviously not DD readers) or being able to afford to put food on the table, but a wedding in a hotel?

@Moshe:
Lol, nope. Also getting married in a shul.

Wish there was a way to thumb-up a post here, if so I’d thumb-up your latest, Dan. You hit the nail right on the head, it’s just feeling jealous and petty. There are literally thousands of posts you should be complaining about if this one bothers you. Dan posts things all the time about things like expensive watches (discounted from say thousands to hundreds) and things like that that I can’t afford even after the discount. So what? So I don’t take advantage of those and move on. Ugh. Comments like q’s are so frustrating, and that attitude is literally tearing down the greatness of this country. Instead of working harder and smarter to move your way up in the world, complain and be bitter about anyone who might have more than you, and try to bring them down so everyone can be “equal.” Disgusting!!
