Citi has finally launched their travel portal, Citi Travel with Booking.com.

Citi Prestige and Citi Premier® Card cardmembers can earn a total of 10 ThankYou Points per dollar by booking hotels, rental cars, or eligible attractions via the portal. Citi Rewards+ and ThankYou Preferred and cardmembers can earn a total of 5 ThankYou Points per dollar on those bookings. Note that booking a hotel via the portal will mean that you won’t earn hotel points or have elite benefits from the chain.

Citi Premier® Card holders can book their annual $100 off $500 hotel stay and Citi Prestige cardholders can book their annual 4th night free hotel benefit via the portal.

Unfortunately, Citi no longer offers an increased value for points redeemed via the portal like they used to, and as other banks like Chase continue to offer.

What about advantage miles/points, not part of it?

Actually, you can also book 4th night free stays via telephone as well. Not like the original days of the Citi Prestige card, but earlier today, I was trying to book 2 parallel reservations with 2 different Citi Prestige cards (for 2 rooms at the same hotel for the same date) and the agent was able to do that for me.

Back in the day the 4th night free was unparalleled. Agents used to book directly on the hotel website and would even use hotel promos like 5th night free or 20% off booking, etc.

Adam

I’m aware of that. They even gave you 4th night free on taxes and fees. But since they changed that in September 2019, the only way to book the 4th night free has been online on the portal.
