It has been many years since you were able to fly nonstop between North American and Thailand, but Air Canada is now selling seasonal nonstop flights between Vancouver and Bangkok this winter. Those flights from December 1st through April 14th.

My wife and I flew to Thailand as part of our 2010/2011 round-the-world first class award ticket that I booked for just 280K AA miles before we had any kids. We had a great time in Chiang Mai and Phuket, where your dollar goes incredibly far and Chabad Houses provide excellent food and tourist services.

It’s great to see Thailand get connected to North America once again, hopefully we’ll see some US-Thailand nonstop connections (San Francisco-Bangkok on United?) established in the coming years.

Will you fly Air Canada to Thailand?

Why not. For the right price.
I remember I flew the JFK-BKK route like 15 years ago. I enjoy long flights.
