when i go to cancel my auto-renew the only option i have is to add cc info to auto-renew. am I missing something?
Was able to cancel by first signing up for auto-renewal, putting in CC info and then cancelling.
You only get the option to opt out of auto renewal “after” you signed up for office.
That is what you are missing.
I signed up for office then I went to the Best Buy page and it tells me to sign up for auto-renewal.

Yes. Are people being signed up automatically for auto renewal by Best Buy. It’s telling me that I need to put in a credit card number to activate Auto renewal.

This has been one of the most infuriating processes I have gone through. Attempting to cancel the auto-renew after submitting my CC information. There is nowhere on either the Best Buy or Microsoft/Office 365 page as stated in the Auto-Renewal Disclaimer “You can cancel at any time by calling 1-888-BEST BUY or you can turn off automatic renewals online through the Plans & Subscriptions page.”
There is no such “Plans and Subscriptions” page to be found.
To make matters worse, when and if you call the phone number in the confirmation notification after purchasing the software, you will wait on a long hold only to be transferred to the “Billing and Refunds” department. “This charge will appear on your credit card statement as “GEEKSQUAD RENEW 800-433-5778.” You can cancel at any time by calling 1-800-433-5778″.
The point is, I DON’T WANT TO HAVE TO CALL TO CANCEL IF I CAN DO THIS ONLINE!
I just wasted 45 minutes of my life.
