If you want to avoid having to take a long survey to get the subscription you can follow these steps.  In Internet Explorer go to Tools>Internet Options>Security>Custom Level.  Then scroll most of the way down to “Scripting” and click on “Disable” under active scripting. Click on OK at the bottom to confirm the change.  Then you will be able to click on the link below and bypass the lengthy survey.  Then you can enable your active scripting once you are finished.

I’m currently getting both of the newspapers below for free from this same offer. It can take a long time until they start coming, but they definitely do come and there’s no catch!

Steven

Do they work to renew the original free ones that u got or they only work for first timers?

YOSSY

The last few times I tried it, it didn’t work.

Dan

I’ve been getting the WSJ and many other magazines from these guys for quite some time, so renewals appear to be working as I keep on signing up for this and keep on getting it.

Avid Reader

Worked last time. In for a renewal. Thanks!

Yehuda

Does it get you the online subscription as well?

Yitz

I did this last time and it worked. Keep up the great work Dan! Thank you!

Matt

@Yehuda I haven’t been able to get an online subscription because my print WSJ shows up at my door without a label.

BEM684

I have a current WSJ subscription (26 weeks). If I do this offer will I end up with two papers or will it tack on to the end of my current subscription?

boruch

Thanx once again, Dan.
On my second free year!!

Mike

The real gem from them right now is the Economist you need to create an account because you need points to get it. It only takes a couple minutes to get the points by referring fake friends I just use auto-type an keep adding some letters. I got my first issue last week.

Dan

@Mike:
No link for the final signup page?

Mike
AJK

@BEM684:

+1 — anyone know if this will result in two newspapers?

Dan

@Mike:
I mean a direct link to the page like the ones for the WSJ.

Mike
Moshe

Hey this did not work last time for me
but i am going to try again

Mike

@Dan: Dan to clarify there is no direct link for the Economist you need to create a password for your account and then earn points. It is very easy to earn points by referring fake friends.

@D: Is there any way to confirm that registration went through. It says I would receive an email, but never did. You think it will still come?

alan

Marmara

In order to get that offer, do you know if I have to be registrated member or it works for everybody? The last time I have tried to create one account it did not work very well… I am still waiting for a password to become a member…
Any suggestions?

YudiG

can you change mailing address once you start getting it?

Dan

@YudiG:
Sure.

Mike

Thanks to Rewardsgold I will be enjoying the WSJ this Pesach at both my parents and in-laws.

moe

i have done this every time this comes up and i have never got it last time i did it for my house and my dads difrent names, emails, and address

my dad get 2 and i get none

any ideas !!???

Shimmy

I’ve had trouble with renewals. Now I get 3 papers daily. My neighbors don’t mind…

I called WSJ and they don’t have my address on file. Weird. Anyone have any advice?

Am

After a year do they automatically begin billing you or do they just stop sending it?

Shimmy

@Am: They just stop.

ephraim

do not sign up for this , wsj is being paid by other companies to do this. your email will be in a lot of unwanted hands. WSj never gives anything away for free.

ruining a good deal

sorry everyone but i love barrons and of course when its free but… i recently looked into the fact that it is delivered on shabbos and most poskim say its a problem of maaris ayin .. as usual ask your LOR

???

@ruining a good deal
why would it be a problem of maaris ayin if you get newspapers every day whats the diffrence

Account Necessary?

Does anyone know if an account i necessary to get these magazines. I’ve signed up for a few following the steps listed in the post, but do I have to sign up for an account initially? Dan, can you shed some light on this.

DL

Anyone know if there’s a way to confirm that the renewal has gone through and that the WSJ is going to keep coming?

Jeremiah1083

@Dan – In order to get online access, call WSJ, click through to speak with a customer service rep, give them your name and address, and ask them for your account number, and to change the phone number to your personal number. When you sign up through RG, they assign a local number to your account that is not yours.

db

@Steven: I only have done it once, but from what I understand, they cap it after two renewals per person in each household.
