I’ll be flying to NYC (where 1 out of every 3 ctownvisitors hail from) in the morning and spending shabbos in Crown Heights, Brooklyn.
Unfortunately however I won’t be in NYC for the day of Gimmel Tammuz for the first time in a decade or so…
I may post a few deals, dependent on whether or not I can hack my new (and quite frankly, awesome) Treo 755p into letting me use it as a modem…
Maybe I’ll even put together a post (if people want) on hacking the Treo 700p and 755p to allow them to be used as a modem…

why don’t u use pdanet? it turns ur treo into a modem
I have to second the PDAnet response.
Although I think it only works with the Windows Mobile devices.
Never tried it with a Palm device (don’t care much for palm, but we’ve been over this before), but with other devices locked out of properly using DUN, it works (over bluetooth or USB).
Personally, I just use unbranded phones that are never locked to begin with. But some carriers aren’t nice enough to let you use those…

Many Sprint phones now have the option of forcing it to use verizon’s towers!
Anyway look in the knowledgebase for getting out of a cell contract.
