Can we all stop buying stuff from China?
Considering that we outsourced nearly all of our manufacturing capabilities to China over the past few decades, good luck with that.
You aren’t buying things from China. You are buying things made by people who live in China. This is their governments fault, not theirs, per se.
For every item that is made in China there is an American taking a cut on it from the whole trade. That is how that American is sponsering his boats, 3 cars, 4000 sq feet home, and much more. Made is China happens more because of the American wanting to trade cheap chinese goods than China wanting to make it. So you are supporting some form of made in USA while buying made in china.
Also…i meet lots of Johns who are enthusiast about “make in america” but these Johns neither want to work for $2/hr, 16 hrs a day with no overtime pay and neither they want to pay $150 for this 50 pieces of mask of someone makes in America with American wages, benefits, vacations, and 401K. Johns have 3 options, pick one option and be happy with it.
Then make it in Mexico or any other cheap country. Moving all our manufacturing over to China is a serious national security issue.

Not sure why I want to buy 50: I’d but 10 for 10 bucks if they could get it to me in a few days. FWIW, I believe there are going to be TONS of masks available in the USA to buy at much lower prices in the next 10 days. You can see supply ramping up. I am amazed by how many people already seem to have gotten masks to wear. It doesn’t seem that easy to buy one.

Newegg situation is the same as the scam on Amazon. They set up a tracking number in order to grab your credit card money, and that’s it, the deal is done, you won’t get anything except for a credit card bill. On Amazon its a hassle to get the refund, because its sold via a 3rd party, and now the 3rd party is in Newegg doing the same thing.
It was sold and shipped by Newegg themselves.
We made 3 orders, all already billed to my credit card and zero have shipped a week later. Calling Newegg tomorrow morning to jump on this.

Shipping label printed 5/4 and item was picked up by UPS on 5/8. UPS says it will be here on 5/13 which is when Newegg promised it.
Ordered on 4/19, credit card was charged on 4/30, label created on 5/1 and today (5/4) is still waiting for carrier to pick it up (not shipped yet). It is taking way too long….
Avoid Newegg. Ordered with 1 day shipping (they com’d shipping) and once again, label created, and the carrier is still waiting for it. This is after my regular shipping order is still waiting for carrier pickup since mid April.

Dan, I’m surprised at you for continuing to post this crappy company on your otherwise great website. I also ordered these 50 pk of masks last week. Initially they said it would arrive today May 7th. Now the website says it will arrive next Tuesday May 13th. I know that come next Tuesday they’ll say Friday, and so on. When I called, the recording said approx wait time 49 minutes. I tried the chat option and it says i’m # 38 on the que. Is this a 3rd grade joke? I am calling my credit card now to cancel. You generally recommend good products and services. This crappy company is ruining your otherwise good reputation.
As predicted, Tuesday has come and gone and still no delivery. Crooks. I will never use this lying scam company again and I will tell others to stay away from them as well. Shame on Oldegg!

Mine was supposed to arrive today but somehow although it already was at the post office in Brooklyn this morning, the most recent tracking just came in as it being in Maryland.. hopefully just a weird mistake..
Mine still haven’t arrived. After the delay, the new delivery date was today and now its showing an additional delay. Chatted with customer service a few days ago and they said I could contact them to start a return once it arrives and then get a full refund.
Now that it got delayed again, chatted with them again, agent said they could file a claim and only once that is done (7-10 days) they will refund. Told them I was very dissapointed with that protocol. We’ll see what happens..
Yes. I ordered on 5/4 (see above post). It came on 5/16 which is a couple days after promised. The delivery was USPS after it got handed off by UPS. Best of luck.

I had ordered knowing it was on back-order and it took a few weeks but I received them this week. I used one of the masks for the first time yesterday and it was good quality for a paper mask and I was pleased with the purchase. I got it the same day as my Dans Deals-posted wipes + sanitizer…it felt like the holiday season! Thanks!!
