You can even have Twitter send you a text message whenever a new deal is posted.

Until 10/18 there is a $20 Staples gift card rebate for buying $300 of Mastercards from Staples.  Have the cashier split the tender between 3 registered AMEX cards and you can save an additional $60 thanks to this offer!

A $100 and $200 Mastercard will cost $312.90 with fees, but you’ll get a $20 Staples gift card back via easy rebate and $60 cash back via AMEX!

Or pick up gift cards to other stores on the cheap!

Twitter method:

Signup for Twitter and you can save money with AMEX.

All you have to do is sync your American Express card with your twitter account to save money at rotating stores.

-Tweet #AmexStaples for a one-time $20 statement credit for spending $100+ in Staples stortes by 11/09/14.

Currently it’s taking about 20 minutes to get a message in your Twitter notifications tab that you have successfully enrolled.

Valid in-store only, not online.

You can sync multiple cards to save even more.

In the image below you can see where to write the tweet, how to tweet, and where to check for the confirmation in the notification tab.

You can register all of your primary and secondary AMEX cards on Twitter to save $10 on each card, it just entails either: Unsyncing and resyncing cards via this link or making a Twitter account for each card.

If you do unsync and resync multiple cards on the same Twitter account you must change the tweet slightly each time like:
#AmexStaples 1
AmexStaples 2
And so on.

When resyncing there is no need to fill out your billing address, just fill out the first half of the form with your name, email, and your credit card number.  You can skip the optional fields asking for your billing address, card expiration, and the 4 digit code.  You can use the same email address for all of your cards.

Forgot which card you registered? Just unsync and resync.

Just remember to change your credit card on file with Uber to take advantage of $10 off each card that you have!

AmericanExpress.com method:

To see if you have this offer in your account just login to your AMEX account, click on any of your cards to go the activity page, click on “AMEX Offers For You,” and save the offer to your account.

If you also have multiple cards with the offer don’t rush to save the offer to your account!  Open up the Offers page for each card in a separate tab in the same browser.  Then go between the tabs to save the offer to each of your targeted cards.  Otherwise once you save the offer to one card it disappears from your other cards.

You can also register your secondary cards for their own AMEX login and register each of those cards as well.

How do you register your secondary cards for their own AMEX login?

Did you mean until 10/18?

On the amex homepage, click on register.

I think it expires 10/18.

80% of DDMS followers are going to tweet #AmexColeHaan because that’s what’s in the screen shot and then report that it’s not working. 🙂

I have 14 registered!

Can Serve card also be registered?

what is the best way to unload $1,400 of MasterCard Giftcards?

Can they be loaded in to serve on 3 different days at FD?

Or only Visa’s work for that?

Also – If I go to the cashier with 7 $200 Giftcards will he split the tender & swipe 14 cards at $100 & Change per card?

Is it better to use a registered Amex card for this, or an Ink card?
Thank you!

Is it twenty dollars off a hundred for each card added or ten, confused

Deals dead, the max cards have been enrolled.

Had my tabs all setup with the offer. Went to add and got the message offer is no longer available. Very sad.

Use both

Dead. Maxed out.

@Hunch: that sucks 🙁

How the hell did it fill up so quickly?

@Hunch: Thanks for replying, but I don’t understand. My question is: if I’m only going to do one, which one is more profitable?

Worked. Got 600 in mc and 2 staples cards and amex money. Thanks

@Anonymous: Dan, What do you say about this? Thanks.

Says max # of card members enrolled in this offer

DEAD VIA TWITTER. The Twitter offer was dead as of 9:00 am EST today (10/15). I sent a tweet to the Amex team and they said it went fast.

@Mokell How did you get 2 staples cards? aren’t they 1 per household and requires filling up staples easyrebate online?

Sucks to be on the West Coast. By the time I get the DD digest email half of the offers are dead. And I’m not waking up at 6:00 am for this stuff. On the other hand, I live in a place with the best weather in the country, sunny all day long, so what am I complaining about…? 😉

@Dan — Awesome! Had no idea I could do that. I’m signing up for SMS alerts right now. THANK YOU.

Glad I did all 7 before work

Glad I have to work early. Saw this on my Twitter feed when I woke up at 5:45 a.m. and was able to get 6 cards registered.

$20 off $100 (don’t forget +80 MR/SPG points) is better than 5x from Chase. It’s hard to get more than 4 cents per point of true value from UR points. If you only have $300 to spend, I’d do the Amex deal.

I tried splitting my $300 purchase between three cards for the MC GC + Amex deals and the clerk wouldn’t let me use AU’s – she said that if I split the purchase the name on all of the cards have to match my drivers license. Anybody else have this problem?

max cards applied. offer dead.

Can’t believe I missed this. Too busy before chag and now it’s gone!

Dan, did you know you cant buy $200 Visa GC at staples with Staples GC anymore?! I bought 1500 worth stpales GC on amazon with freedom and now i cant unload them? Any ideas?

if i got a tweet that i am enrolled and right afterwards i got a tweet that max # of card enrolled, do i get the promo or not? it happened on 8 am on the 15th
