Signup bonus:
You can now earn 75,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points for opening the Chase Ink Cash Card or the Chase Ink Unlimited Card and spending $7,500 in 3 months. Those points are worth a minimum of $750 cash back, but they can be worth much more as shown below.
These are marketed as a $750 signup bonus, but you’ll actually get 75,000 Ultimate Rewards points for signing up!
The previous signup bonus offers on these cards have been 30K-50K points.
Annual fee:
Neither of these cards have an annual fee.
Signup bonus terms:
- You might not be approved for this card if you have received a signup bonus on a card for the same business within the past 24 months, but you can get approved and if you are approved you will get the signup bonus.
- You can get approved and get the signup bonus for the same card for multiple businesses.
- You can get approved and get the signup bonus for each card even if you have other Chase Ink cards.
5/24:
All Chase cards appear to be subject to 5/24 restrictions, meaning that you are not likely to be approved if you have been approved for 5 or more consumer credit cards in the past 24 months. Note that the Chase system automatically counts cards like authorized user cards and store cards as cards that count towards 5/24, but if you explain to Chase that those cards are merely authorized user cards or store cards they can manually approve you for a new card.
You can check your credit report for free at the federally authorized annualcreditreport.com to check how many accounts are shown as being open in the past 24 months.
Card earnings:
- 1.5 points per dollar everywhere.
- This is marketed as earning 1.5% cash back, but it actually earns 1-5 Ultimate Rewards points per dollar everywhere. As each point can be worth 1.5-2 cents (or more) each, that’s like earning up to 2.25%-3% back everywhere!
- 2 points per dollar on Gas stations and Restaurants.
- $25K cap per year on these 2x categories.
- 5 points per dollar on charges made directly with all cell phone service providers (AT&T, Boost, Cricket, Google Fi, Republic, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon, Virgin Mobile, etc)
- 5 points per dollar on charges made directly with all telecom, TV, and Internet providers
- 5 points per dollar on charges made with streaming services, like Hulu, Netflix, SiriusXM, Sling, Spotify, Tivo, and Vudu
- 5 points per dollar on charges from Godaddy.com
- 5 points per dollar on charges from Microsoft OneDrive
- 5 points per dollar on charges made in-store or online at office supply stores, like Office Depot, Office Max, and Staples.
- $25K cap per year on these 5x categories.
- This is marketed as earning 2% or 5% cash back, but it actually earns 2-5 Ultimate Rewards points per dollar in these categories. As each point can be worth 1.5-2 cents (or more) each, that’s like earning up to 4%-10% back in these categories!
Which Card To Get?
The Ink Unlimited is a great card for excellent earnings everywhere, while the Ink Cash is a great card for earnings on its bonus categories. You can get both cards if you value both of their spending categories.
Spend Threshold:
You’ll need to spend $7,500 on this card within 3 months.
You can pay your federal taxes for a 1.87% fee. If you overpay your taxes you can request a refund or apply it to your next year’s taxes.
My local natural gas company allows me to prepay up to $1,000 on a credit card for a $1.65 flat fee. That’s a great way to earn miles and help meet a spend threshold. My electricity supplier allows me to pay with a credit card for free as long as I am enrolled in autopay.
You can also buy gift cards on the Ink Cash card for stores like Amazon, as described below, to earn 5 points per dollar and help meet the spending threshold.
0% APR:
These cards 0% intro APR on purchases within 12 months of account opening.
Business card information, benefits, signup rules, and 5/24:
Chase Ink cards are business cards, but you may already have a business that needs a card to keep track of expenses. For example if your name is Joe Smith and you sell items online, or if you have any other side business and want a credit card to better keep track of business expenditures you can open a business credit card for “Joe Smith” as the business. You don’t need to file any messy government paperwork to be allowed to do that. Just be sure to select “Sole Proprietorship” as the business type and just use your social security number in the Tax Identification Number field.
It’s important to just write your own name as the business name if you are just applying for your own small business as a Sole Proprietorship that doesn’t have any business paperwork.
If you’re like me and you run more than one business, you can signup for multiple of the same card for each business to manage each businesses expenses separately.
You can receive a signup bonus on each type of Ink card for each business that you manage.
All Chase cards appear to be subject to 5/24 restrictions. That means it will be hard to get approved if you have been approved for 5 or more consumer credit cards in the past 24 months. Read more about that here.
However, it’s important to note that business cards from most banks, including Chase business cards, do not get added to your 5/24 count of recently opened cards. That’s because business cards from most banks don’t show up on your personal credit report and the 5/24 count is based off of your personal credit report. That means that applying for Chase Ink cards won’t “hurt” your 5/24 count.
Another benefit of the card not reporting on your personal credit report is that when you spend money on personal cards your credit score will be hurt even if you pay your bill on time. A whopping 30% of your credit score is based on credit utilization. You can pay off your card bill before your statement is generated to avoid that, but that takes effort and laying out money well before you have to. Additionally it’s good to have the statement close with a couple dollars to show the card is active and being paid every month. On an business cards from banks like AMEX and Chase it’s just not reported, so you can wait until the money is due without it having a negative effect on your score. That also means if you close the card, it won’t have an effect on your credit score.
While carrying balances on consumer cards can have a very harmful effect on your credit score, because the Ink cards are business cards, those balances won’t hurt your credit score! That makes the 0% APR on purchases for 12 months on a business card a very strong offer.
Card benefits:
- Lost Luggage Insurance
- Baggage Delay Reimbursement
- Travel Accident Insurance
- Purchase protection for items damaged or stolen within 120 days
- Extended warranty protection
Cash back on top of points:
All Chase Ink cards are eligible for additional cash back via Visa Savings Edge.
That means you can earn points plus cash back at ParkWhiz, Chevron, AutoZone, Boost Mobile, MailChimp, Microsoft, MGM hotels, Wyndham hotels, and more.
Cash back or miles?
You can cash out your points for 1% cash back. I hope that you won’t do that.
If you, an authorized user, or anyone in your household have or will get a Chase Sapphire Preferred, Chase Sapphire Reserve, or Chase Ink Preferred your points will be more valuable.
All 3 of those cards allow points from all of the Chase cards in your household to be transferred into airline miles or hotel points.
The Sapphire Preferred and Ink Preferred cards allow you and anyone in your household to use points at a value of 1.25 cents each towards travel.
The Sapphire Reserve card allows you and anyone in your household to use points at a value of 1.5 cents each towards travel.
The Ink Cash card can’t transfer points directly into miles, but Chase allows you to transfer points to cards where they can be transferred into miles or redeemed for a greater value. My goal is to receive a value of 2 cents per point via transfers to miles and that makes the 2 point categories worth 4% back and the 5 point categories worth 10% back.
Pay yourself back:
Back in May 2020, Chase added the ability to pay yourself back.
Cardmembers who utilize Pay Yourself Back can redeem points worth 10% more on internet, cable, phone services and shipping through at least 12/31/22.
A great feature of the program is that you keep the original points that the purchase earned, even though you paid yourself back for the purchase.
Card convertibility:
You can call Chase to convert these cards or any of the following cards into another card from this list:
- Chase Ink Cash ($0 annual fee)
- Chase Ink Unlimited ($0 annual fee)
- Chase Ink Preferred ($95 annual fee)
Note that some reps will only allow card conversions after you have had the card for 12 months.
Earning Bonuses From Gift Cards
With Chase Ink Cash you can earn 5 points per dollar when you buy gift cards for hundreds of other stores in office supply stores and on Staples.com. Office supply stores often have sales on gift cards so that you can save even more.
Office supply stores also sell Visa and Mastercard gift cards that can be used anywhere. Typically a $200 gift card costs $206.95, which would earn 1,035 points. Those points are worth much more than the $6.95 fee. However those stores also often run promotions that I write about when you can buy the Visa or Mastercard gift cards without paying fees.
You can use these gift cards for purchases anywhere, while earning 5 points per dollar!

These are the gift cards that I’ve found at my local stores. If you find more please post a comment!
Charitable donation:
Your local school or charity will be more than happy to accept donations of Amazon gift cards for supplies or any other useful gift cards for chinese auctions, raffles, fundraisers, etc. They will give you a tax deductible receipt for the full face value-the price you paid for the gift cards. And at the same time you’ll earn 5 points per dollar spent on Ink Cash. So while doing good you can still get a nice chunk of points and you’ll save on your taxes!
Airline transfer partners:
If you or someone in your household has a Chase Sapphire Preferred, Chase Sapphire Reserve, or Chase Ink Preferred then you can transfer points earned on these cards at a 1:1 ratio to:
- United (Star Alliance)
- Singapore (Star Alliance)
- Air France/KLM Flying Blue (Skyteam)
- British Airways (OneWorld)
- Aer Lingus (OneWorld)
- Iberia (OneWorld)
- Emirates
- JetBlue
- Southwest
- Virgin Atlantic
Hotel transfer partners:
You can transfer points at a 1:1 ratio to:
- Hyatt
- IHG
- Marriott
The great thing about Chase Ultimate Rewards is how versatile and valuable they are:
The Sapphire Preferred card and Ink Preferred Card allows you and anyone in your household to transfer Chase points into miles. They also allow you to use points at a value of 1.25 cents each towards travel.
The Sapphire Reserve also allows you and anyone in your household to transfer Chase points into miles. Plus it allows you to use points at a value of 1.5 cents each towards travel.
The fixed value is excellent and doesn’t require hunting down award space, but those points can be much more valuable by transferring them into airline miles or hotel points.
- If I want to stay in a 5 star Park Hyatt in the Maldives, Melbourne, NYC, Paris, Sydney, or Tokyo that would cost over $1,000/night, I can instantly transfer 25-30K points to Hyatt to do that, a value of up to 6 cents per point.
- If I need a one-way flight from Cleveland (or Chicago, Detroit, Miami, Montreal, Orlando, Pittsburgh, Toronto, etc) to NYC that can cost $500 each way, I can instantly transfer 7.5K points to British Airways to book a short-haul on American with no last minute booking fees. Or if American doesn’t have availability I can instantly transfer 10K points to United for their short-haul award. That’s a value of up to 7 cents per point.
- If I want to stay in a non-chain hotel that costs $300/night and don’t want to pay cash, I can redeem 20K points for the room thanks to my Sapphire Reserve card’s minimum redemption value of 1.5 cents per point or 24K points with the Sapphire Preferred card’s minimum redemption value of 1.25 cents per point
- If I want to fly in a $25,000 ANA First Class Suite round-trip from the US to Tokyo, I can instantly transfer 110K or 120K points to Virgin Atlantic. That’s a value of up to 23 cents per point.
- If I want to book a $2,281 business class ticket on Air Canada to Tel Aviv I can redeem 152K points for the flight thanks to my Sapphire Reserve card’s minimum redemption value of 1.5 cents per point or 182K points with the Sapphire Preferred card’s minimum redemption value of 1.25 cents per point, plus I’ll earn Qantas miles for more future travel as it’s considered a paid flight instead of an award flight.
- And thousands of other possibilities from Singapore couples suites to booking Southwest awards with 2 free bags and free cancellations, to stealing 2nd base in middle of an MLB game.

Are the old 50k offers for 3k spend gone?
It looks like Chase is moving towards bigger bonuses but needing much bigger spend on all their Ink cards to try to stop churners
I don’t see the old offer anywhere. Obviously old offer is better for those of us who aren’t sure we can spend 7.5k. especially considering Chase is matching the new offers if we do end up spending 7.5k
The 3 Inks were the best sign-up bonuses in the game before this. This only furthers that point.
I have had timing- just got the Ink Unlimited 2 weeks ago 🙁
Send an SM or call to ask to be matched?
Yes, I called.
They said they escalated it to the marketing department and I have to wait 5-7 business days to know more.
They told me that a letter has been sent out to me, and it seems they are matching it (if I complete the $7500 spend)!
I guess the spending tracker that they added won’t work for a match, but I’m not complaining.
What is the best card to use for Amazon PPC ads?
Was just approved for the 50k Unlimited in July. Doubt they will match, but sent SM.
Also, seems like Staples is no longer stocking AT&T Prepaid GCs online.
Keep us posted!
They matched for me- I got my ink cash in September…
SM received that they matched. Dont see the addl 25k yet. They said the spend was already completed. So will see.
When’s a new offer coming for Reserve card already?
Just got approved under old offer for each card. Debating if worth to ask for match, considering need to spend an additional $4500 on each just for 25,000 points.
If you’re able to get the spending in, it comes out to 5.5 points per dollar extra.
True, it’s still a lower valuation then would get on a SUB for a new card.
True, but you can only get SUB for this card every 24 months, plus you have to stick within 5/24.
Where does it say about 24 month rule? I always at 4/24 and just apply for business cards until drop to 3/24.
In this article
Hi dan
In the 5/24 section, what do you mean by “store card”? (Macys, banana republic ect.?)
A card only valid for a specific store.
I currently have a active chase ink Business cash and ink business unlimited i’ve had both of these cards for more than 2 years. I’m wanting to know if I’ll be approved for the same cards again without canceling the 2 active cards that I already have. Please advise
If you have a reason to need more than one (different clients, etc) than you can get more.
Is it still almost impossible to be approved?
No, they loosened standards in late September.
Tougher than before, but much much easier than April-September.
Typing error on the Ink Cash, there is no line for the everyday spending 1 point per doller.
Got the Ink Cash a few weeks ago. Sent an SM to match the new offer and they said that when I meet $7500 spend, then they’ll add the additional points to my account.
If I apply for one of these business cards with my own social (as a sole proprietorship), will it show up on my credit score since I’m using my social? I don’t want my average credit age getting younger
No
Dan you posted the 5/24 rule on this post if i’m not mistaken the business cards don’t count as the 5/24
If I have the chase Ink Business Preferred can i get this card under same business name?
Yes, you can get all 3 Inks for each business you have.
Dan, is there dollar limit to how many amazon gift cards I can load into my amazon account?
No
But beware if Amazon suspects fraud due to high volumes of gift cards they will shut your account and steal all your money. Best not to load too much at a time
I currently have a sapphire preferred And ink preferred both with a $95 fee however I only need one card without a foreign transection fee.
Which one should I downgrade?
I recently opened a new business with all proper paperwork and applied for the business ink preferred and got declined as it doesn’t have enough credit history.
I would love to apply for these cards. Any tips or need to knows how to get approved?
are foreign gas stations included in the bonus category for the Cash Card?
Yes.
how long is the offer going to last?
Unknown.
Dan, Can you expand on this – “ The Ink Cash card can’t transfer points directly into miles, but Chase allows you to transfer points to cards where they can be transferred into miles or redeemed for a greater value.”
How do you get Ink Cash or Ink Unlimited UR points into miles?
https://www.dansdeals.com/credit-cards/get-highest-signup-bonus-ever-no-annual-fee-chase-ink-cash-chase-ink-unlimited-cards/#Airline_transfer_partners
That only refers to Ink Preferred. Not Ink Cash or Ink Unlimited.
Exactly, you need to transfer points to another card that allows mileage transfers.
And I can transfer Ink Cash/Unlimited UR points to ANY other card that allows mileage transfers?
Yes. Namely, these:
https://www.dansdeals.com/credit-cards/get-highest-signup-bonus-ever-no-annual-fee-chase-ink-cash-chase-ink-unlimited-cards/#Airline_transfer_partners
Is there an expiration date for this offer?
https://www.dansdeals.com/credit-cards/get-highest-signup-bonus-ever-no-annual-fee-chase-ink-cash-chase-ink-unlimited-cards/#comment-1502585
When you press on the chase ink cash, the deal is not 75000 miles, its $750 .
Read the post?
Just got approved for both cards. Thanks Dan.
Which other Chase card should I o for before I exhaust my 5/24
Go for the 3rd Ink (Ink Preferred) if you don’t already have it.
I don’t think 5/24 applies to business cards
Hey Dan,
Looking to open a new business and was going to use this as my spending card. If I say on the application that the business has no revenue (since its a startup), what’s the likelihood that I will get approved? Was going to incorporate this business as well, so using a TIN, not a SP with SS#. Personal credit score is good.
Hi Dan, just tried to apply for another Chase Business Ink and it was auto declined. When i checked the Chase Credit Journey – they listed all (~8) my business credit cards inquiries within a year. I believe they are seeing all business CC opened by an individual.
Inquiries don’t count for 5/24.
Called recon?
Not yet, will wait for official letter to see the reason. I have all 3 inks on SS# and EIN.
I sent a sm 3 days ago to get matched, they responded if i show the offer they will match, i sent link and a screen shot and they instantly added 25k to my account
will they run a personal credit check when I apply for a business ink?
Pay1040.com now charges a 1.99% fee.
spending cap is 3k. any point in asking them to increase? was going to use to pay tuition…
Difference between the CFU card and CIU card is strictly sign-up bonus?
Reading the 5/24 language above, it sounds like personal 5/24 limits are considered when biz card applications are submitted, but that biz cards don’t count towards the personal 5/24 limit. Is this correct?
Yes
I have these cards a few years, can I apply for another card and get the bonus?
Yes
i have the Chase Ink Cash card and my wife has the Chase Sapphire Preferred card, Can I transfer my points to United or only my wife can, if the former is correct can my wife transfer to my United account or only to her account?
Your wife can add you as an AU onto her card and then transfer to either United account
Can I use the card immediately if I get approved? I am tempted to apply if that is the case…
With Ink CASH, do Staples GC count towards the $7500 spending threshold?
Of course.
If I have the ink prefered, and I downgrade to ink cash, will I get the 75k bonus?
You need to apply for a new card for a bonus.
I already have both cards. If I close them now how long do I have to wait in order to reapply?
Technically you can have multiple of each of these cards.
If I cancel my current ones first am I more likely to be approved?
It’s possible.
if i have multiple business. can i apply for multiple of the same card and get the same bonus for each?
If I have the ink preferred , will I get th bonus if I apply to this? Is it a totally different product?
Yes. Yes.
I was denied for the Chase Visa Signature business card because of “Business structure “, what does that mean, and how could I reapply?
Did you apply with your name?
“5 points per dollar on charges made directly with all cell phone service providers (AT&T, Boost, Cricket, Google Fi, Republic, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon, Virgin Mobile, etc)”
Is that for phone bills only? Or even if I buy a new phone or accessories etc at one of the above stores?
You can charge accessories to your bill…
Am I able to have multiple of the SAME card under the SAME business? Or only multiple of the same card under different businesses?
Either
What are the foreign transaction fees for the card?
Anyone know if 5x points for phone service includes Israel cellphone service? HOT Mobile etc.
Preferred, af Due – best convert to? any chance of waive year 2 ?
Dan I applied as a sole proprietor and have the business as less than a year old. Gave my social as my tax ID. They now want Proof of legal name and physical address for business and Proof of federal tax id for business. Can I just upload my driver’s license and ss card and satisfy all of the requirements? (I submitted that my business address is the same as my personal) thanks!
Please advise so I can get you your referral bonus
Did you use just your name as the business name?
Yep I did.
I have preferred inc and cash, can i still get this one and the bonus?
HOw do I redeem my chase sapphire points 125k, if I dont travel.
I see you write that you can get 1.25 on groceries, how do i do that at my local grocery stores, or is that not possible.
u would pay at your grocery with your card and then have that cc bill “paid” by redeeming your points. log into your account and look for membership points and redeem
I have ink preferred. Can i apply at the same time for both cards for a total of 150,000 points?
Yes.
Definition of household member for saphire reserve holder? Can this be my grandfather if we reside at the same address? Thnaks
Don’t see anywhere if there are foreign transaction fees on either card, can anyone confirm if there are or aren’t?
There are on both
Which card gives you 5% rewards on amazon purchases? IS it only amazon purchases for office or all amazon purchases?
buy amazon gc in staples etc so you get 5 points per dollar
I still do not understand why this beats Amazon Prime’s 5% cash back card.. seems like the exact same. Can you please elaborate what you gain from using the ink cash to purchase Amazon gc from staples and then using that gc on Amazon?
Chase UR points are worth more than a penny.
Dan,
Which of these two is better if I wanna open a business card to pay my investment property taxes and I wanna have the 0% apr as well which these cards are great for that plus earning points/cash?
And in general I tried searching to compare on your sites, which small business cards with 0% apr and bonus earnings and earning on spending are the best if I wanna use it for paying investment property taxes?
Could you send me a link to such a post or comparison for what I’m looking for?
Thanks Dan.
Dan, Does the unlimited or any of these give one year extended if you partial pay for an item. ie buying iPad on Amazon with a credit – but adding $100 on this card- warranty extended / 120 loss coverage? Thanks.
What do you mean that authorized users are counted towards 5/24. If i
added someone toms my card or if someone added me to his?
if i ask to switch from the $95 fee ink to one of these will they give me a signup bonus? or do i need to close that ink card and open a new one? it has been more than 2 years since opening the $95 one
Dan I don’t see the link to actually open these 2 cards. Is this a old offer or current one? I happen to have a few big purchases to make within the next month. Can I open them under my 3 LLCs equaling 6 cards, and get the bonus for all of them?
Just click the link on the card name in this post.
You can.
I see the links but the post I’m on is from April 2021. Can you update me with current link for the 75k points offer for these 2 cards. And are the chances of me getting approved for 3 different LLCs slim? It’s 6 cards for one person in one day….
They are current.
No harm is trying.
how updated is this “update” that theyre matching to 90k? im not seeing any comments below this year talk about it
Got the extra 15k points added on Ink Unlimited opened in Sept.
Denied on Ink Cash opened in March.
What do I need to do to get the upgrade ?
Send a SM
I got approved for Ink business unlimited in August and they instantly told me that they can bump me up from 75 to 90 but I need to call back once I meet the spend to actually receive the increase. They told me they are getting a lot of these calls so I wonder how much longer the marketing team will give out free points lol.
The rep mentioned to me that anyone approved within the last 5 months should have no issue getting the bump to 90k as of now.
if i already have a one business card, is it easier to get approved using that same business or a different one
use the same ssn sole prop every 3 months, no need to mix in eins
I sent a secure message and got approved
Can I asked to match for a card opened in Feb?
Never hurts to ask, but seems like they’re matching to about 5-6 months back.
That was easy, thanks Dan.
Here’s what they sent back:

Congrats!
Can I apply for the 90K points directely from a website or is the offer directely from a branch. I do not have any Chase Business Cards. I do have an Amex Bonvy Business Card.
If I open them today, how would I go about getting bumped up to 90k for both of them? Do I first do the spending and then contact them (in a month or two when spending completed) or do I first contact them?
SM after they show up in your account online.
Once the credit cards show up in my account online? Or the points?
When the card shows up.
i got approved today using 75k link. called them they said theyll write in the note thats once i get the spending done that ill get the additional points. but to calll back once the spending requirment is done so the agent can apply it then.

i called up and i wasn’t getting anywhere… so i sent a secure message and got approved for 3 seperate cards
Does anyone have the wording used on SM that worked for them to get the offer match?
Hi
I heard about an opening offer for 90,000 points instead of the 75,000 from when I signed up, can I get a match to that offer?
Thanks
This is what I wrote, worked for 2 accounts! Thanks Dan, you just got me $450 worth of eating out paid back with my sapphire reserve, for a few seconds of work!
Looks like it isn’t available anymore (that’s what it says when j click the link)
I sent them the following. (I already met the bonus goal.)
“I heard that in the branch Chase is giving 90k points for the ink card I opened. Can I get the same amount of bonus points for ipening my card. That would be another 15k points.”
12 hours latter they told me I will get the aditional points posted to my account.
I applied for the ink cash in the beginning of August
I called up chase now and they said they’ll give me the 90,000 points
I had already completed the bonus so I don’t need to call up again.
Thank you Dan
Do they do a hard personal credit inquiry for this or is this business only and do not check anything on my SSN?
Where do I find out what my status is regarding 5/24? It is different with each reporting agency and credit tracking website. Should I look at the Credit Journey form Chase?
So, P2 had just applied for the card when it was at 7.5k/75K (we thought: it’s been like that for so long, no sense waiting for a different offer – !?). They seem willing to match the current offer – but at this point we’ve only spent 6.5K. Do we need to spend the 7.5K level and then they’ll add 15K, or can they add the current offer?
