Limited time signup bonus:
Capital One has launched an excellent limited-time offer for its fantastic Capital One Spark Cash Card. The expiration date of this offer is unknown.
You will earn $1,500 bonus cash back after spending $15,000 in the first 3 months. As you earn at least 2% back everywhere, that’s a total of $1,800 cash back after spending $15,000.
That’s a significantly better offer than the previous offer of $750 cash back for spending $15,000 in 3 months.
You can earn this bonus even if you have the Capital One Spark Cash Plus, which is a different card product, is a charge card, and has a higher annual fee.
If you have a Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card, Capital One Venture X Business Card, Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card, Capital One VentureOne Rewards Credit Card, or Capital One Spark Miles for Business card, you can transfer cash back into miles at $1 cash back to 100 miles ratio. That means you can convert the $1,800 cash back into 180,000 miles, where they can be much more valuable!
You can even transfer rewards to any other cardholder!
Annual fee:
With this offer, the annual fee will be $0 for the first year and $95 afterwards. Additional user cards are free.
Card earnings:
- 2% cash back everywhere.
- 5% cash back on hotels and rental cars booked via Capital One Travel.
- No foreign transaction fees.

My app went pending review..
Already have the Capital One Spark Cash Plus and Venture with 30k limits each.
Should I wait? Is there a reconsideration number?
Can you get the bonus if you already have this card?
Can i apply for Spark business and venture personal the same day?
Hmm, never heard of this declination. Anyone has insight as to what this means.
The reason(s) for our decision are: • Based on your application information, prior and anticipated spend at merchants with high transaction costs
I got the same, I’m assuming that they picked up from my other cap1 accounts that the majority of my spending (20k a month) is abroad and although they don’t charge forex fee maybe costs them? I wonder if that is even legal or if there is something to do about it
Does Capital One report this card to the credit bureaus?
Can a sole proprietor apply for this business card with a social security?
If I have a existing one, can I close it today and open a new one within a week??
May I get the bonus if I have the Venture X card, business and personal?
Yes
If I’ve had this card before can I still get it?
YMMV, but yes in my experience.
Can you get this again if we cancel a number of years ago?
i got denied any reason for that? anything i can do ?
Does Capital One still pull from all credit bureaus?
I just got the Capital One Venture X Business.
But it needs 30k spending vs the 15k on this.
Can i change it to this one?
Or should I just apply for this and forget that one?
Or is there something that card has that it’s worth trying to reach that goal?
Thanks
anyone know if you can switch products?
Thanks
Deal definitely seemed too good to be true. They rejected my business application saying I had too many inquiries. I’ve had four inquiries in the last two years. But they were happy to tell me I’m approved for a no annual fee card with no sign up bonus. What a total bait and switch scam. I have a 20 year old business with perfect credit. This is the first time I’ve ever been declined for a credit card. Good riddance, capital one
@Dan can you get the card number for this card or a virtual card number before it arrives in the mail? Got a big purchase coming up
any luck?
Not from the website. But I think getting a virtual card through the app might be possible before getting the physical one. On the app, a button popped up offering it to me in order to use the card before the physical one arrives, but I didn’t try it, so don’t know if it actually works
any idea if i can get this instant card on approval have large purchase to make today
