    ———————————————————–
Airspace Lounge is now open in JFK terminal 5, joining existing Airspace lounges in Baltimore and Cleveland.

JFK T5 serves JetBlue, Hawaiian, and Aer Lingus.

Entry is free with The Platinum Card® from American Express or the The Business Platinum Card® from American Express OPEN.  With the Platinum card you also get free entry for you and 2 guests or for you and your entire immediate family.  As long as your Platinum card isn’t expired (they expire 4 years from date of issue) it will give you free access.  An arriving or departing boarding pass for all guests is required. Entry without a Platinum card is $25-$35 per person. If you’re flying Aer Lingus business or first class then entry is free as well.

With entry every person is entitled to a $10 Airspace gift card good for premium drink and food items in the lounge.  Be sure to ask for a card for you and all your guests, even your infant!
Complimentary items include Peet’s Coffee and Tea, soft drinks, small snacks and fruit, printing and scanning, use of house computers, Wi-Fi, use of private restrooms, and shower facilities.
And it’s pretty great to jump into a shower after getting off a red-eye!

    I Travel Virtually

These airspace lounges look like a great option if you have a long layover in these airports.

The fee is not really that bad and it allows you to relax and you can get some work done if you need to while you are waiting for your flight.

I think more airports should make these lounges available to travelers.

They’ve opened in San Diego too. It’s a pretty nice lounge. It’ like the Cleveland lounge in that it has great views, but it’s much bigger.
